Doom III is out (Finally!)

Yes there is a multiplayer, its right on the start menu.

After finishing the game I would like to say that the game play was retrograde even archaic, in plot it was mediocre, in graphics it is not a revolution as claimed, it’s simply the expected successor to the previous graphics of other 1ps-3ps games. I hope HalfLife 2 has better game play and plot wise, thought from what I have heard of the plot it worries me. Once D3 and HL2 multiplayer mods come out UT2kx are going to have serious competition.

This game is so evil! I love it.

Very difficult to play too. I'm playing on easy and it is still extremely had in spots.

I can only imagine what NIghtmare is going to be like.

As to the the original doom. The rumor is false I think. No classic doom easter egg.

However, there is a classic doom mod being worked on. It's got a long way to go and I don't even think the SDK has been released yet. So don't hold your breath waiting for it.

I found the bad guy at the end rather easy, you just run away fast, in a cycle of course as thats all you got to run on, fight the minor demons as they come up or even better get them in the way of the rockets the big guy fires: almost like some of that demon vs demon actions of the old doom, almost

I did like the Id software pda just before the end, nice touch.

Argh. You're right invert. No doom95. I had a paper with a cheat code on it that said:

Classic doom

"give doom95"

as a cheat code. I hadn't tried it. I just did, and got squat.

Bogus.

 

Have you people tried "The Suffering" It has a good dark theme and storie, it is worth a play if you like horror games.

ps. play on the hardest level, its not that hard imo
