But figuring out who and/or what to believe makes it impossible for this site to contribute anything with any degree of importance.

It's like going into a library and finding that all the books, fiction and non-fiction, are all just stacked around with no labels to tell you what's good and what's just bullshit.

And that goes for those who cited particular Internet "news" articles ....you can't believe those either, since there are other news articles that contradict the first. Who do you believe? And how can you take the time to figure it out if everywhere you turn, some other site is claiming that something else is true? See? You're fucked ...unless you've already established your bias.

Sciforums is a place where people, discussing reality, get together and have a good time chatting while the rest of the world rots away watching TV or playing ping pong.

I have a question for YOU. What would happen if all sciforums members were given all the power on planet Earth? How would things rule out? Would greed take over? Or would we figure out some smooth way for things to get running?

Its a fun idea, but it wouldn't work, so I'm "voting" against this idea. ( my vote is worth 6 billion votes....haha jk)

 

SciForums was once condensed smaller than a quark. It exploded & has since been expanding at 333googolplex times the speed of light. There is much debate as to whether it will continue expanding forever or if it will slow, contract & condense.

It wouldn't work or it wouldn't work better than what we have now? I wonder if nearly anything that hasn't been tried is worth a try to hopefully be better than the awful mess we're in now.
