Creating media is not work. Nor is it ethical to own something that you can never physically lose. It is not justification ot anything. It is just simple ethics. If I create something, I might use the law and system to make money with it, and prevent others from using it. However, if I were to claim that I have sole ownership over my creative work in an ethical sense, I would be fooling myself. Legally, I might be able to use the law to own my work and control it. Ethically, nobody can own something that they cannot lose physically. You have some obsession with laziness and living off of the system as if that concept really exists. There is no such thing as laziness if compensation and incentive are involved. People have the right to be "lazy" as you put it. Nobody has the right to force others to work or participate in a system of destruction and incompetence. It is one thing to live off of a system, and another thing to attack the system. The system is garbage. I declare that if anybody finds any flaw in any system I implement, feel free to attack it. It only means the system is not doing its job, and people are unhappy. If people are unhappy it is not the person attacking it that needs to change. It is the system that needs to better itself so people do not feel the need to attack it or "live off it" as you so put it. If the system was actually effective and competent, there would be no need to attack it. Instead of calling people lazy for not wanting to work which is everybody's right to not want to work, try compensating them or providing proper incentive for them to work readily and happily.

Actually he's got a point that a lot of media is hugely overpriced; As far as I know this came before downloading with the industry wanting to maximise profit. The difference between people is that some people download purely as it's a free copy, and although it should be about the music/art/whatever and not making money, artists have a right to earn a living, the ideal situation would be to cut the gap between making a living and being a millionaire(including the middle men taking their more than fair share). Regardless, what of people who download with a view to buying if the music is worth the price? Do you disagree with their integrity? Sadly a lot of stuff isn't worth it, until that trend stops, or more sites allow you to preview things properly it'd be a much easier choice to decide what you like and will pay for at a reasonable price, until then filesharing will continue.
