    They knew the enemy was cunning, sneaky. So, first do surveillance and then attack unannounced.
    In the end the DNR agents and sheriff's deputies were successful.

    Well, you know, they carry disease, but so do pigeons, and they're legal to keep

    What I don't get, well, it seems obvious: Why not tranquilize the deer, remove her to a wild location, and leave her to fend for herself?

    I mean, I know that Wisconsin is severely screwed up right now, but I had no idea it ran this deep.

    But, really, if you have to be such an asshole as to refuse to let the shelter rehabilitate the deer, why go to the extra effort of wasting a bullet?

    Oh, right. Because no bullet is ever wasted, as long as you get to kill something.
