    I'm quite astonished, although I should be used to it by now, by whatever criteria is being used for moderating by string.

    How is it off - topic posting to point out that a dud bomb being a topic of discussion and making more news than the people who have died under American occupation over the same period of time is not an expression of derision?

    Seriously what would hysteria look like? When you call the enforced military occupation of a country, operation enduring freedom, is there even a brain cell in the mix?

    Ophi with his customary derision, shall we say, made the point best:

    I just thought someone should remember that apart from Americans killing Americans, there are also Americans killing people in the rest of the world. None of which makes as much impact as a dud SUV in Times Square.
