Why is it being thrown around as some sort condemnation of Obama's experience. Maybe I'm alone here, but it seems to me that being a community organizer with the ability to inspire people to act would be one of the most essential skills for a president to have. :shrug:

I think some people are offended that he tried to help his community instead of using his degree to get a high paying job. I mean his community organizer days he did things like adult literacy programs.
None of the programs helped the people in his community, they were failures, and the reason that they were a failure, was that they were skimmed by the Chicago Machine, into their own pockets. Obama started as a Ward Heelers, long before he ever went to College to become a lawyer.
