o.k, i have been hearing alot about this. I was just wondering what it actuly means please someone tell me.
I think anyone who "hates" communism is not hating the socio-economic system itself, but the realities of it as practiced by some nations of the world. Most people "know" communism from the way it's practiced rather than the theories behind it. The best "definition" that I've ever heard, that seems to capture the essense of communism is ...."From each according to his ability; to each according to his need." I think that sums up the theory quite nicely. But putting that into practice is virtually impossible ...as we've so often seen in the world. Baron Max
so basicly evry ones equal? and people who need stuff are suplied by there friends family and other people?
No, no!! In communism, it's quite the opposite ...and more realistic, I might add. "From each according to his ability, ...." Communism is one of few socio-economic systems that rightfully recognizes that people are different and have different skills and intelligence. Huh? No, supplied by the local government ...which controls all products produced by all of the people. Baron Max
Well, think about it for just a moment .....would or does anything "work" in the world of humans? See? Humans can fuck up anything ...even a good wet dream!! Think about it ...how much better the world would be without humans. Humans suck giant donkey dicks! Baron Max
without humans world would be crap for us, but for the rest of the planet it would be like geting rid of a parasite
Until the next industrious, intelligent species evolved. By the nature of evolution: Only the strongest survive. The way the strongest survive is by killing and subplanting their weaker rivals. We may not like this dirty little fact, but our very destructiveness is what brought us to this point in our development... and may yet be what ends us and brings another intelligent species to the planet to repeat the same cycle, 50-100 million years from now. This planet may, at the end of its life, bring some 50-100 intelligent species into being... all to be destroyed by the very same evolutionary trait which made them supreme. ~String
Communism has never been practiced, socialism has. And what has been practiced is'nt even socialism, it's maoism and stalinism or a version there of.
Communism starts with communal organization of economic endeavor. A traditional family farm makes a reasonable example. At this scale, the benefits are obvious and the costs minimal. Small scale-up examples might include the founding colonies of the United States (some of them), Israeli kibbutzim, some religious monasteries, etc. Then it extends this to large scale industrial economies, in theory. It's as if one were to set up a nation's political organization on "family values" scaled up to a political theory. The benefits vanish, and the costs increase exponentially (since the one is based on local and personal judgment, and the other derives from the circumstances of maintaining a fully-connected cohesively managed network). Since this larger system is not self-supporting or stabilized by internal component (human) behavior, it is enforced by violence. Hence the necessary involvement of the state. The key feature is formally communal organization of economic behavior. Communes.
