Can anyone shed more light on the potential validity of the following article and paper? http://www.extremetech.com/extreme/...-million-times-the-energy-density-of-gasoline http://www.sifferkoll.se/sifferkoll/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/LuganoReportSubmit.pdf
Rossi spent years in jail for fraud, tax evasion and ripping off his customers. ahem, marks.. As far as I'm concerned, he's still a con-man and his toy is a prop.
That information is helpful, thank you. Does anyone know about these "researchers" who examined the device and about the credibility of what they say in their paper? Afterwards I found this article http://news.newenergytimes.net/2013...emics-to-create-illusion-of-independent-test/ I also found this Forbes article http://www.forbes.com/sites/markgibbs/2013/05/24/the-e-cat-testing-team-real-or-ringers/ , and in looking up the people on the paper they did appear to be accredited academics. Of course I am skeptical but I'm looking for more insight from others.
Here's some: Did the researchers have an amp-clamp on the power leads into the reactor, or did they have access to the watt-hour meter on the electrical power being used during the "demonstration"?
Do basic research before posting such tripe, I use Wiki everyday... but it is not infallible. But the internet is a powerful machine, for only a few bucks you can invest in the E-Cat, although I would not recommend it, the following link will make you rich beyond your wildest dreams: https://pulsodream.com/en/about.html
Here's a link to the other thread going on about this: http://www.sciforums.com/threads/lenr-low-energy-nuclear-reactions.140480/page-5
Use common sense, if you have any. Or better yet, send me your money: I promise to not deliver anything less than that chickenshit outfit you linked to.
yeah, it's a mlm plan for the 'ecat'. get in early, then out, and you'll be rich. last ones in are the losers. i'm gettin' a better feel for this now.
Wow, it seems that I have to hold your hands and explain in simple terms that the link I provided is a SCAM. If you are really interested in the Rossi story... DO YOUR OWN RESEARCH... don't believe me, don't believe Wiki, dont believe anyone... Find out for yourselves.
then why lie by stating "the following link will make you rich beyond your wildest dreams" and posting the link? others have already posted extensive evidence showing that the referenced article is not trustworthy, and we need independent corroboration. i've searched and not found it. you got any?
It seems my native humour (please spellcheck and correct me) is lost on this forum... the link I posted is a SCAM, in fact Andrea Rossi said as much... but dont take my word for it.... find out for yourself.
Meanwhile in the for real world: http://www.scientificamerican.com/article/lockheed-claims-breakthrough-on-fusion-energy/
That would be interesting to actually see it but why will they take 10 years to develop it as they say if they have already produced one?
Cold fusion is utter nonsense. To fuse nuclei you must overcome fierce electromagnetic forces. This requires extremely high speed collisions. It occurrs in stellar cores where extreme temperatures & pressure allow the collisions to take place. Anyon who believes in Cold Fusion (aka LENR) has zilch understanding of nuclear physics. There might be some tunneling effect which would result in a single fusion event once in 5-10 years. The frequency is a SWAG which is only a bit better than a WAG.
Agreed. Have you told the fools who drool about the possibility that they're being ripped off? Did they hear you? Where have all the flowers gone? When will they ever learn?
