Catholic Church about to collapse

M*W: This evil has been going on for a long time within the RCC, and not just since modern journalism has uncovered it. Why? The RCC is just another organization created of men, by men and for men (and not women or children). Does anyone remember what happened to those good folks down at the Inquisition? Let history charge the RCC with those crimes first, and then charge them with their crimes resulting in faulty celi-cough-bacy and sexual deviance for those who can bear witness against this papal bullshit today.

My guess is that when the RCC falls (and it's already been tipped over), it will be like a domino effect, and they will all come falling down. And this is for those of you out there who remember the Dark Ages and keep them holy...

Errr, no, that's not correct. On the contrary, it's apparently regular for a bonobo's first sexual experience to involve its parent(s). They seem to display a taboo about sex between adult males and their mothers, but this does not extend to juveniles.

Although it's been suggested that their sociosexual behavior in captivity (which is where most of these observations come from) is vastly different than in the wild, where they supposedly display a more usual patriarchal structure.

I think that this may well trigger a third Vatican council.
It might not happen in this Pope's lifetime.

I think I can see a slight shift in the denial/blame attitude,
and possibly the Holy Father's analytical mind will become useful.
I hope so.

Maybe the Bonobo question could be split.
In evolutionary terms, it is possible that intercourse with family members unable to produce progeny might result in less disease.

This could explain why it is found in captivity, with a higher number of recessive genes about.
(Later note: I've been reading this, and am wondering what I meant by it. Possibly confusion.Any ideas?)

On the other hand, I doubt whether Bonobos suffer trauma, and have a much increased risk of suicide and mental illness due to the practise.

We're not Bonobos, are we?
