ahhh, ok, I did come across them during my search but didn't think that I found them because I found the cartoons kinda "mild". Thanks.
I knew it criticize Israel and you bring the wrath of God down on you head , you can criticize Arabs all you like but ............. Has anyone died ? Or is it just the press once again deliberately blowing it all out of proportion , like making the Paris riots into the French intifada . And tell me how did the Scandanavian public act over this incident . He was escorted from the gallery with peolple profusely apologizing for the artwork . And the swedish goverment complied . Your link said nothing of the sort , are you making this up ? Thats because there is now a progressive ANC goverment in power which fully appreciates what vile racism Zionism is and this freedom to criticize can flourish thanks to the ANC . Zionist Israel was allied to Apartheid South Africa , both nations co-operated with each other in nuclear technology and repressing their repective opprerssed unwanted populations . Under that regime this political cartoonist would of lost his job , in fact I dont think he would of ever seen the light of day . Now I knew by balancing up this racist anti-Arab thraed by a person who is a rabid racist would expose the true nature of its contributors .
Maybe this is why the fury is so hostile ........ I think they are just fed up with western negativity , thats understandable .
gee whiz i cant remember the last time i saw an arab bomber on t.v or a belly dancer Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! i saw arab billionaires on mcguyver once...well im not sure if they were arab or billionaires but they were on a yacht so it was subliminal. evil bastards.
Thats because your ward has no TV , its not good for patients like yourself who take hallucengenics .
wow that was good Brian. hal·luci·no·genic you mean like woodstock, hippies and easy rider? i make a serious observation and you insult me. WHY?
Originally there was no reaction nobody even knew about these cartoons let alone the manic reactions they would engender. Now everybody knows because of the furor and reactions range from mild disbelief to anger towards the muslims behavior. Also now every web jockey in europe has started printing the cartoons just as a matter of principle. As far as negative stereotyping of muslims after this incident the mood is migrating towards "if the shoe fits wear it".
What about the Arab on Cannonball Run?? Huh!! To be honest, they are blaming a whole nation for the actions of a small group of people...something they've been blaming us for for a long while. But there is some good coming out of this, there is talk of an actual mosque being built in Copenhagen. At the moment, all muslims have to be sent abroad to be buried as there is no place for them to be buried properly in Denmark at the moment. And surprise, surprise, a lot of dairy companies are willing to help pay for this. Not quite sure what the cows have done to upset them though...
The owner of France Soir : Raymond Lakah , who used to be Rami Lakah - is a businessman from Egypt ..... www.egypttoday.com/printerfriendly.aspx?ArticleID=2824 there are many other links for this guy , mostly in french - at least two of the links claims he is a moderate muslim but into human rights - he seems to have fled from Egypt with a business debt of 1.2 BILLION egyptian pounds = 200 million $ ..... now he has a french passport (money talks) and is generally referred to as french-egyptian , but he is still wanted in Egypt by the police...
Sounds like an Israeli or USA agent doesn't he? Just like Amad Chalabi who left Jordan after stealing millions from a bank. Then he was installed as leader of Iraq. Israeli and USA muslim collaborators live the good life.
I didn't expect any real thought on what this is about. Maybe you can teach yourselves. Asia Times Online will not be republishing the now notorious Danish cartoons of the Prophet Mohammed, unlike the various European publications that have chosen to do so as a demonstration of freedom of expression. We agree with Ehsan Ahrari's statement in today's article that freedom of expression does not mean open season on Islam or any other religion. We believe that matters of religious belief are personal, and should stay that way. As many of our "Letters to the Editor" writers have discovered, disparaging remarks about religions get the "..." treatment. This means, too, that not only should insults be avoided, but also attempts to impose one's beliefs - religious or otherwise - on others. Whether it's the forcible imposition of "democracy" by one country on another, or demands that foreign media abide by the tenets of one's religion, we believe that nations and individuals alike should mind their own business. But we do not believe that the fundamental issues behind the cartoon furor have much to do with either blasphemy or freedom of expression. If blasphemy were the problem, the loud voices raised in protest have very successfully disseminated the blasphemy - much more effectively than the misguided Danish newspaper, Jyllands-Posten, that originally published the cartoons. The protests have turned the issue into a full-blown news story, and millions of people who would not otherwise have done so have now seen the cartoons. At the same time of course, the protesters' flag-burnings and threats against the various publishers of the cartoons do nothing but harden anti-Muslim attitudes in the West. And this is what it's all about. Poke each other often enough with a stick - or a cartoon, or a fuel-laden airliner - and tolerance wears thin. Forget the "winning hearts and minds" drivel, or at least collapse in hysterical laughter over it. Civilizational war is what the protagonists want, and that's what they're getting.
Foley, as usual you're behind the times. There have been riots, protests in Britain calling for the "massacre" of those "insulting" Mohammed and the Danish embassy in Indonesia was attacked. Trying to excuse the behaviour of muslims with "well, no one's died yet" is ludicrous. Sixteen people were lynched in Afghanistan because someone thought they saw a Quran being flushed, and you're telling us we shouldn't be upset at the worldwide reaction since no one's died YET. And what in hell does this have to do with Arabs? This is a religious issue, not a racial one. Geoff
