Bush asks for $725 billion in military spending
President Bush's budget proposal for 2008 seeks more than $725 billion in military spending while cutting health funding
    Sam Knight and agencies

President Bush asked Congress to approve a total of $725 billion (£368 billion) in military spending today while cutting nearly $80 billion ($41 billion) from health and education programmes.

Am i in a dream, $725 billion, is he for fucking real, jesus a good shrink is all he needs & that wont cost more than a couple of thousand bucks.

I get paid in US bucks, & there worth jack shit thanks to bush he has done more to put america into debt than every american president put together.

How is it kennedy can be shot, reagan, & there founding president yet bush seems to have no enemies?

I love america, i love american people, yet this president is the dumbest bastard in the world, he is making america bankrupt both financially & with respect from other countries.

Roll on hilary Clinton, her husband bill clinton, in my opinion was the smartest president that ever ruled america, i loved the guy.

Well the dollar is worthless abroad now, hell even mickey mouse currencies are worth more thanks to bush, its a wonder americans can afford to go on holiday.

But bush never went past texas before he was mad prez, geography was never his strongest point, but flogging a dead horse in iraq is certainly something he is very good at.

You could have 5 million american troops in iraq, there would still be bombs going off every day there.

Something that he can not grasp.

Don't blame Bush as much you blame Republican voters, the root cause of the problem. 30% of the country still believes that Bush (or whatever Republican prez) is the decider and he should be able to spend as much as he wants without being questioned. Even if he wanted a $trillion more for the military, they'd support him. They are the true enemies of the US. Their stupidity and gullibility is no excuse.

But zanket, it's not all republicans. Don't be quick to generalize and judge.

Isn't there the possibility that the congress denies the money? What are the chances for that?

I'm talking about Republicans who voted for Bush, esp. those who still support him. That's like concluding that cats are felines; no generalization involved. Those who voted for Bush are certainly responsible for what he does. They deserve the blame.

And where, pray tell, is this money gonna come from, Mr. Bush? The taxes the American people pay? What if I don't want my tax dollars going to this war?

Aren't conservatives supposed to hate Big Government?

Let's just round up the 725B to 1T.

We might as well do it right ahead of time.

Do you actually argue anymore, or just troll?

Reviewing your old posts, it seems your mind suffers from senility. Maybe it's the testosterone shutting down, causing you to bitch like a hag.

Tacit acknowledgement of having nothing to say, or an
"I know you are but what am I?"

    You decide!
