Just wondering if anyone agrees with my assessment, that the “Book of Mormon” may really be part of America's first foray into the science-fiction genre. Joseph Smith made a religio-docudrama, employing a pseudo-biblical format, with a mixture of Biblical & extra-biblical characters, some 19th century ideas & when he found that people really believed his story, he took the L. Ron Hubbard way & formed his own cult, like Scientology did this last century. If you agree or disagree, Please post here
