I'm betting many people on this forum have some form of body art on their bodies. I'd like to take a survey and ask for interesting stories either about yourself or people you know. Like why did you do it in the first place? After it was done, do you still like it or would you like it gone? If you liked it did you get more? Do you hang out with others that are really into it?

Several years ago when I hung with people that were big on doing recreational drugs. I met a guy that did tats for extra money. He owed me for letting him have a place to stay for a couple of weeks and wanted to do a tat on me as payment. I thought about it for a few days and said okay. I didn't have a clear picture of what I wanted. So I ended up with a large shoulder reaper. It's bigger than I like and if I had it to do again it wouldn't be a reaper.

My cousin Rick told me a navy story you all might enjoy. In port he went out on the town with a couple of buddies and they all started drinking with the understanding that the first to go under the table would be in for a surprise when they woke up. It was one of his buddies that passed out first and they took him over to a tattoo shop and had the artist put a good sized house fly on the end of his dick. Damn! As it turned out he wasn't a very good sport about it. (What were any of them thinking?)

Right now I don't have the $$$, but a different image of this little guy is likely to end up on the outside of my left calf:

That's cool, needless to say my reaper is completely different. Do you know what type of tats cause the most pain? I've been told anything over the ribs might qualify as most painful. I can say that the part of mine that went over the shoulder bone was very painful, also a little bit that wrapped into my arm pit was extremely painful. Also there are a few other places I don't even want to think about.

I take it the piercings were common ear piercings?

My right arm pretty much has a sleeve. Some empty spots but covered from my wrist to my shoulder. No piercings, i hate piercing but that is for myself. My GF does not have any piercings, except closed up ear piercings. I pierced my left ear in HS (i am 32 now) but never really cared for it.

I regret getting tats though and would not do it again. I like to be pure.

A full sleeve and you wish you hadn't done it? How could that happen? Never mind I have a good imagination. Also I'm with you on those piercings, I've seen some pictures that just make me cringe. Kinda makes you wonder if there's any possibility of a sex life afterward.

I've always wanted a tattoo, but never could find anything that I'd want to have on my body for a long period of time. The only peircings I'd really be ok with are subtle ones that are perceived as a bit feminine by most people(like the top of the ear or the belly button), so I don't have any of those either.

At least I know the why now. But that's much better than putting her name on your ass, along with “This is the property of”.

If you like that feminine touch, try one of those back tats just above the belt line.

Not exactly. I got it done simply because I wanted it done.
The attraction it holds for women was an unlooked-for bonus.

Yeah, I'd never have someone's name tattooed on.
    Unless Isabelle Adjani calls...

Lol. I like those places because they're subtle and don't look so unnatural; the reason I have no peircings is because all the more subtle ones are perceived as feminine.
