    From 1% to 2% percent HIV infection rate in a decade in America. Whites remained steady at 0.2%. Data released at the 12th Annual Retrovirus Conference in Boston (attended by over 3,800 researchers and clinicians). Prisoners, homeless and those in the military were excluded from the study.
