Best Flight Sim

What's the best flying/space game you've ever played? One of the first games I ever bought-TIE Fighter, was ranked among the best games ever by PCGAMER, and I really did enjoy that baybey, right up until the end when Zaarin flew into hyperspace and sploded. It was just so frickin cool! I'll never forget it...

But at the moment my favorite is Crimson Skies, that game is very cool, and I'm playing it for the third time, despite the fact that I've never finished it.

X-Wing Alliance was also one of my favorites, maybe I should reinstall the bugger....

Has anyone played Combat Flight Simulator 2? I have the first but the graphics are really shitty and the way the planes make them not-so-much-fun pilot. Croicky.
