As a geek today, I would imagine the twin rejection of women in dating and HR bitches who won't acknowledge you as a person just because you are one of a crowd of geeks living on the streets desperate for a coding job.

Well, I can only hope that happens so we can get together. Might want to recruit from China, where the ratio is tilted towards men.

this is a thread that is about the future of MANKIND. whether the one gender is male or not, you agreed with me that ultimately that we will end up a single gender. so it is not really a thread that is anti-females. this is a thread that is about our evolution. and whether females like it or not

1)males are the dominant gender
2)males would have a better chance than females of evolving with there greater potential(and i am not going to go into why).
3)this has nothing to do with being sexist or my ideas have not been founded by any hatred of females. i am just after scientific fact
4)i told you already that many of you cannot see past your emotional ties with the female gender, so therefore we cannot really have a real discussion.

you still have not given me anything to back up your claims. i have agreed that females can have a high degree of intelligence. but what i said that none were genius. this thread is about where mankind is going. whether you like it or not mankind will have to evolve into a single gender(super race). your argument is just like grasping at straws. i tell you people again.

the male gender will someday find ways to take on the jobs that females do and gradually do them better. do you really think that our science has stopped evolving. where do you people think that man is going with genetic research or the other forms of science.

hermaphrodites? well maybe, maybe not. personally i don't like that vision. but hey you entitled to your opinion. i believe the people of the future will be males just with no sexual desire. not hermaphrodites.

I don't think we're heading to become a single male gender. IMO that's funny, and a very male view of things.

I do see that we are collectively moving towards where there is less separation between "what it is to be a man" in commonly considered and accepted terms, and "what it is to be a woman." But to say that this lessening separation between the genders is moving towards more maleness than femaleness is silly. Looking at all of the guys that i've known during my life, in general i've seen commonly considered "feminine characteristics" (openness, receptiveness, compassion, empathy) displayed by them more than was commonly shown by American males in the early part of the 20th century, let alone the 19th century. (from my study and understanding of history at least.) There are always exceptions but i'm talking about in general.

Well the thread starter doesn't seem to want to divulge personal information, so I will. There will be a single gender in the future, and there will not be sexual desire in that gender. For men, it is quite easy, and it is castration. It is around $800h. I hear Dr. Spector is good.

I have looked into it, and am considering it. The only choice now I need to make is whether to store sperm or not. Clearly technology in the future will allow us to use cheeck (not butt) cells to make sperm just like the testes do.

 

you people are just seeing this argument as male versus female. this is not what i wanted. if you have taken it as male versus female you have misread what i have wrote. again your emotional ties to the female gender are blinding your interpretation of my theories. if we all agree that we are heading to one gender. i am not ordering you to make the male gender that single gender. you can always go the female gender way. i don't know why i am worrying, i will be well dead by the time that it actually happens. for all the james r's around the world you go down the female gender role.

Lykan - when i say that the genders are seperating. what i mean by this is that as the male gender becomes more intelligent is is slowly becoming less interested in females. it really does not matter to me how the female emotions feel to the male, or how strong they are. more and more males will be gradually be losing interest in females. but as the male gender is losing interest in the female gender, your right the male is becoming more female in it's emotions.

 

Yes, exactly. The genders will more or less converge, not grow apart. We need the strength from both to make the better future. Do you have specifics for how females can approach this? I think you have to take out the ovaries to be closer to the ideal.

By the way, it is not emotional ties to females which is making me hesitant--it is the emotional tie to my female.

 

I was thinking of a way to make this work. Men could get castrated but remain with their women if they want. It would be more important to castrate gay men, actually. But once done they would have the most loving partnerships.

 

If by "more intelligent" you mean more adept at technology, well, you're dead wrong. I am just getting into my Bachelor Of Technology degree, and I grow more obsessed with women every day. They rock.

what i get from your answers, is thousands of years of conditioning. no matter how much i explain my theories you are to tied in to the society that man has created, to even have any understanding of the future of mankind. this is one of the reasons that mankind has trouble seeing any further than 50 years into the future. if you people think that you are going to be the same humans beings for the rest of time, you have no understanding of how civilizations evolve. this converstion is like talking to a bunch of 3 year olds(except for fen, who is willing to accept new ideas).

 

Maybe no serious communication can take place because your thoughts and ideas are too outrageous to take seriously.
And if you call us 3-year olds, how does your intelligence tell you that this is good way of getting a more serious communication?

well it does not really matter anyway. man can choose his own destiny, just that if you don't evolve in the right way you won't be reaching the potential i see in mankind. i think it is time to stop this discussion.

Maybe we see different potentials in mankind than you are able to perceive.
What is more important, to be kind to others or to be smarter than others?
Is it smarter to think it's better to be smarter than it is to be kind, or is it the other way around?
