Are humans righteous or evil in nature?
Are we good or bad?
Or just a mixture?

Those words have no meaning. Is a cow "righteous" or "evil" in nature?
Humans evolve .
If I kill you, I am evil or good?
Yes and no.
Hence, the only way for humanity is intellectual pursuits and to keep in mind that Sun will nip us in the bud in the future. Cause giving up sex and food ain't in the cards... Or, I could buy me a vat, put my brain in it, and not give a crap 'bout anything.
But damn that Sun has Evil intentions.
Humans have the capacity to do a great deal of things and regardless of whether or not they appear good or bad, it's how they affect themselves and others in the long run. It's also based on one's perception. Of course, how our brains are wired is an important aspect. Take Trump for example, he has some serious mental disorders that cause him to lack empathy hence he behaves like a narcissist. Most people think he's bad because of the insane things he says and does, yet others love him as if he was their messiah.
You would be a murderer, a criminal. "Evil" is a religious concept, "good" probably is too.
If a fox kills a chicken is it "evil"? If it doesn't kill a chicken is it "good"?
What if the fox takes a chicken under its protection? Or enslaves the chicken to lay eggs?
Intelligent creatures do a great many things that go 'against type' and expectation: their nature is not static or immutable; they have a wide range of emotions and ideas.
Whatever they decide to do, for whatever reasons, can be judged as good or evil by intelligent creatures who indulge in the intellectual practice of judging others.
But I know all dolphins are stoners.
Murderer means Evil.
Sometimes self righteous religious people equates to evil people.
No, it doesn't.
It really doesn't.
It means 'one who has committed an illegal homicide'.
Legal systems vary widely in their definition of murder, but they all exclude the killing of any person sentenced to death by the same legal system that defines 'murder', as well as the entire category of homicides in war - even when that war is a genocidal one. They often also exclude the killing of human beings not considered 'persons' in that society: chattels and aliens, and obviously, the killing, buy whatever means, of all other species. At the same time, many legal systems define as 'murder' the killing of an abuser or menacer in self-defense, the killing of an oppressor or foreign occupier in resistance, the killing of an enemy combatant in a civil war, or the mercy killing of a person in extreme agony.
The term 'murder' has, in fact, very little to do with good or evil.
I think most humans are evil otherwise this world would not have so many issues and problems. From poverty and misery to wars and racism these are all caused by humans and are human problems.
This world can be very cruel and scary if you think about it.
There are way too many things wrong with this world when you think about it.
Hehe....., young dolphins are just like our young kids, passing around and licking toad's backs.
