lol fair enough mate yeh id been vegetarian for about 7 months before i decided to go vegan sometimes i get a bit of a craving for something like chocolate milk.. man i used to be addicted to the stuff i swear lol.. and chocolate flavoured soy milk isnt that great; but its worth it i reckon
nah mate im an aussie 4th generation australian, my family moved down here from Scotland why? was it the red hair and freckles? lol

Yes... I really should start doing that too... I am not originally Scottish you know. I was actually born in England. My mother died so my Father moved to Scotland with his Scottish lover... my step mother.
Former vegan. The trick was to home cook all my meals. The few times I ate out during that time, I'd found a great resource online for vegan spots in NYC. When you go grocery shopping and buy anything packaged, always check the ingredients. Pretty simple, just tedious. And if going vegan makes you feel healthier, all it means is you probably weren't eating healthy in the first place.
yeah i do that now too.. i just mean how do you know what additives etc contain animal products? like gluten and that yeah i know lol but it feels good to know that im taking proper care of my body now Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! lol
Google. Like I said, being a vegan doesn't necessarily mean you're taking proper care of your body. I would talk to a nutritionist to make sure you're getting all the right essentials your body needs, plus the proper intake of carbs/protein/fat.
It can be healthy if implemented correctly, veggies contain a lot of what the body needs. As for fats, flax seed and nuts are two decent sources.
well for calcium, i drink calcium fortified soy milk. it hasnt got as much calcium as regular milk but its a start and i dont know bout the rest yet. im going to go see a dietician soon tho
er yeh thanx i know how to google. it was the first thing i did, but i just wanted some help from someone whos been there and done it. and what is it in bread that vegans cant eat? i heard that we can have wholewheat bread but not white bread, is that right?
pfffft. from this link yeah duh! They are chickens. Not humans. You can't put chickens in a house and feed them human food and make them sleep in beds with sheets. That's because they are chickens!
