I lived in Tucson for two long years. I used to wonder how people lived there before the advent of air conditioning.

I worked at a full serve Chevron station, basically out in the heat all day. My car had no AC, so I usually spent my day off (I worked six days a week) in the summer time hiding out in my little cinder block studio apartment. There are worse places than Tucson, but I was glad to leave it behind.

Yeah! Like Dallas/Fortworth Texas. I was there for about 8 years and it hailed twice with with grape fruit sized chunks of ice. Once I got caught in an ice storm while driving, that was a very tense time, and once I went to work in the morning in a short sleeve shirt because it was 85 degrees out. When I got off at 3:30pm it was 28 degrees out and I froze my ass off getting home. But I hated Texas for more reasons than I care to talk about here.

I don't know the states well enough to pick a food for each one, and that makes this map interesting to me.

I've known a few New Yorkers in my time and they are very strange in how they think.

I found my PDF file with the map of the "American Nations." Now how the heck to I get it into a post???

We lived south of Valencia Road, which at that time was out in the desert in the middle of nowhere. I went to Sunnyside school, which in those days was a separate district with its own school board. I'm certain that a couple of my teachers were Gila monsters in disguise.

My mother worked at Davis-Monthan AFB for a couple of years.

I found this map of the Navajo Nation in Northern Arizona and New Mexico. I have been able to save pictures out of a PDF file before, but not all versions of PDF allow you to do that. Make sure you have the most current version and give it a try again.

Found 3 more. I've been somewhat reluctant to post some of these as they are not always in the best taste. However I did find them by searching for "fun maps" so please view them in the spirit of being funny.

They can be funny. I did most of my searching under " Fun or Funny maps" and was hoping others would find more and post, but think the OP title was wrong or something. But I think the world maps give America a new perspective.

I don't remember him, but do you see some of his personality in that map?
