    Depends. If I want to do something that requires vision I usually turn in the light.
    But normally, when it's dark, it's dark for a reason; the reason being that I want to go to sleep.

    But what you want to hear of course, is that I will go towards the light

    I believe that the result might well be a two.

    Do not go gentle into that good night,
    Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
    Rage, rage against the dying of the light.
    Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
    Because their words had forked no lightning they
    Do not go gentle into that good night.

    Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
    Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
    Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

    Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
    And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
    Do not go gentle into that good night.

    Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
    Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
    Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

    And you, my father, there on the sad height,
    Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
    Do not go gentle into that good night.
    Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

    The Darkness
    by Christinia

    If only it were so simple,
    to cruise through life smelling roses;
    but the obstacles blacken the countryside,
    and we unwittingly crush them beneath our boots.

    Dreams sustain us through the madness;
    goals give a finish line to our race.
    Yet they change with every turn, around every wall,
    and remain elusive throughout the quest.

    Mistakes are made, and regrets are our luggage;
    we will drag them with us to slow us down.
    The victories are flashes of light, sudden and unlasting, which allow us
    to glimpse the road ahead before darkness descends.

    Love is bitter, yet it is the bread that keeps us.
    Over and over it fills us up, only to starve us.
    The people whom we love shape our destinies and our strengths,
    yet leave us cold and alone in the darkness.

    There are others trying to race to the end;
    occasionally, we bump into one or two.
    The bonds we form help us down the path less lonely
    but eventually, we lose each other in the darkness.

    Alone is not a bad way to be;
    it clears your head and focuses you on the journey.
    Cherish the short intervals during the quest you have with others,
    but be prepared to walk alone in the darkness.

    You mean watching one of the Matrix films ?

    Taking a whiz - or lacking the capacity to do so ?

    Half of a "one-two punch" ?

    Listening to that Metallica song ?

    It's pretty simple really:

    Drink beer; take piss; no stones - provided the cause of it wasn't some more dire ailment than a chance infection or that sort of thing. But of course after a medical exam they can tell you that.

    I guess either way you look at it, it doesn't matter. I was just curious about what the result is. Above, Enmos said, "I believe the result may very well be a two" which is interesting because the result of a two also implies .....:-(

    lol

    “I would hurl words into this darkness and wait for an echo, and if an echo sounded, no matter how faintly, I would send other words to tell, to march, to fight, to create a sense of hunger for life that gnaws in us all.”

    Think positive.

    The result could be zero.

    2 implies the cube root of 8.

    “You might try then, as I did, to find a sky so full of stars it will blind you again. Only no sky can blind you now. Even with all that iridescent magic up there, your eye will no longer trace constellations. You’ll care only about the darkness and you’ll watch it for hours, for days, maybe even for years, trying in vain to believe you’re some kind of indispensable universe-appointed sentinel, as if just by looking you could actually keep it all at bay. It will get so bad you’ll be afraid to look away, you’ll be afraid to sleep.”

    What? Why was this one chance so significant.
    I don't think it's a matter of being stupid either.

    More likely than 2 anyway. I stand corrected.
