Offense is like beauty, sort of

I would have said it is in the eye of the beholder. Some things are apparent, but others ....

Well, you know what I mean, I think.

Yeah, I'd just made a post in response to Quantum Quack saying that I'm 3/4 of the way to 20,000.
Gaaah! I must get a life.

I just recently got 5,000. Not bad for almost a year.

My posts could of been higher if I didn't moderate my own posts. Sometimes I've been strong enough to just delete a post if the content seems to abusive or absurd, or just to difficult to discuss.

I think Tiassa's post count is most impressive, since his posts tend to be essay-like in nature.

I'd have half the post rate I actually have if it wasn't for moderation messages.

Pretty impressive seeing as how post count is reduced when threads people posted under are cesspooled. People in the 10,000 club are likely to have a much higher count without realizing it.

Plazma should come up with some sort of SciForums shwag........like pencils, pens, little trophys, jackets, award placards, etc.

Which was who? Oli, I suspect.

Anyway, the thread makes me wonder how many posts Draq had before he was banned. Of course, if subtract off topic references to russia and asian morality as it pertains to gender the number would be considerably smaller I reckon.

Yeah, his total would then be around... 2. At a push.

So Drag would be an excellent example for:

    1. High postcount = not having a life

    2. quantity =/= quality

So let's stop this morbid fascination with postcount, shall we?

Haha. No, during the Summer and Winter vacations I have got nothing better to do. But during school, I am usually kept busy.

    The longer view

Thanks, but it also represents eleven years, which says something in and of itself.

Maybe I should shut up while I'm behind.

People with lower post counts have to salute them, or possibly avert their eyes in reverence.
...all except S.A.M. With her, you have to pay a percentage of your income and kiss her on her ring.
