I seriously doubt they will nuke iran, but I also doubt a conventional cruise missile, or many cruise missiles could cause the damage or have the penetration Israel needs.

Even if Israel does nuke Iran, what do you think will happen? They are already under sanctions since 1979 [see reports on their museum piece airplanes], and what little remains to be sanctioned [ie oil] is not in the interest of China or Russia

That would give Iran the excuse to jump out of the NPT

It would also give Iran the excuse to get a nuclear weapon

It would only delay a nuclear weapon for what, a year?

It would further damage Israel's legitimacy in the Arab street [Iran is seen as a local hero]

It would damage all US efforts in Shia Iraq, which is still closer to Iran than the US [the Ayatollah lives there]

It will renew support for the anti-US anti-Israel regime. Nothing like having your country nuked to determine which side you would rather support.

Further it would damage the US position with China.

It would also damage Israeli standing with the US and may actually be the straw that broke the camels back [ok not with ZOG in place, but surely even Rahm has his limits?]

Israel is not going to nuke iran, the reciprocations for israel would be to great!, but Israel does not have the conventional fire power to do major damage, ergo they are bluffing.

Considering Obama, I don't think so, look at north korea they make even grander threats then Iran and no one bombs them, they don't want to play into north korea attempts to unify its people. No you have them as a deterrent, in fact you have just the rumor of them as a deterrent, you can't even openly say you have them because it would case economic sanctions against you! This is why there is no chance in hell your going to nuke iran unless nuked first. And you don't have the conventional fire power to dismantle Irans nuclear program, fuck even the US was consider nuclear bunker busters as even we don't have the conventional technology to get down to some of these Iranian nuclear facilities. Iran learn from what you did with Iraq and have built their facilities to be much harder to bomb.
