I saw we put the pope and dubya in the octagon and see who comes out alive - you're into that sort of thing aren't you norsefire?
What sort of thing? In terms of influence as power, the pope could have most of the modern world in a matter of seconds. He could easily take over, there's still tens of millions of Catholics all over Europe and the US and Latin America.
Well, you could say that but he's still a talking head for the unknown owners of the Fed.His power lies in how people react to his words. Also, the owners of the IMF and World Bank could be on the list. Everyone has to barrow money.
Except the millions of devout Catholics who are not only in power but are numerous throughout the West. Besides, the pope doesn't issue commands for people to listen. But if he made a call for crusade tomorrow, how many people do you think will show up? Ten? Twenty? I'd say easily in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions.
True. The sad thing is that Ben Bernanke is kind of ticked that the media continues to go to Alan Greenspan for guidance on the economy.
And where do you get this idea that they steal it from others??? Maybe they earn it by hard work and ingenuity...
think it's because Greenspan was perceived as genuine, where's Bernanke is a more obvious puppet. It's a symtom of the current market condition, maybe.
Gladiatorial combat to the death http://www.sciforums.com/showthread.php?t=82725 I'm guessing you are a big Steve Reeves fan too
Allen Greenspan, he sets all of the tax rates and inflation rates in the US. Therefore he runs the US government due to financing the governments income through taxes.
I don't get why people always pull out the "It's 2008" card. So? It's gonna be 2009. What's your point?
devout Catholics, not just a person who calls themselves a Catholic but doesn't practice. And i'm sure many devout catholics would act on it.
