What makes someone cool????

Goth people are "cool" among their subculture but they generally do not have individuals in their group who they look up to who are "cool".

At my old school to be cool you had to be: Disrespectful (with a capital D), smoking, drink alcohol, see women as lust objects, listen R&B, hiphop or other crap like that. And if you actually learned your stuff people classified you as a nerd.

My definition of beiing cool is if one is beiing self evident and don't give shit whether you're cool.

Yeah i agree goth girls are a total turn on(the pretty ones), they already fucked in the head so all you have to do is fuck the body.

Cool has lost its original meaning, nowadays, to be cool you gotta be HOT. Hey SHE'S HOT. Whoa HE'S HOT.

Cool is generally used to describe something as being ok or in order.

If anyone is genuinely considered as 'cool' these days, they're probably not much older than 13 and the admirers of said cool person are probably younger.

just wondering, but how many have more then just seen a goth on the street?

a person is cool when he/she dont fucking care if there cool or not.

that's so true.

You are cool if a close friend tells you so, because they're usually the ones who know you best.

Why do you ask?

A lot of my friends are what people call “Gothic”. But they don’t classify themselves as Gothic’s, and neither do I. Who would want to after the pathetic subculture that it has become?

Does anyone notice how those subcultures meld together to make horrific conglomerations? I'm talking about the punk/geek/goth types that wear cloaks. I guess by then you can just call them freaks.

What's wrong with being a freak, anyway? :bugeye:

I don't understand what exactly is so freaky about "Goths"?
What is so wrong with wearing black? Or a cape for that matter? Or whatever else isn't "in fashion".
What is the difference between someone wearing all white, or all pink, and someone wearing all black?

Black is my favourite colour, I feel most comfortable when wearing it, so that has become almost the only colour I wear. Sometimes I wear a white or a dark red t-shirt too.

Yeah, me too.
But I wouldn't class myself as Gothic.
I like the simplicity of it, also.

Nothing if you simply like the color black.
But most people that wear "all" anything are trying to make some sort of statement and that statement is usually (especially in the case of so-called "goths") supposed to be a "fuck you" to societal mores, fashion and "conformity".
What most of the morons do not catch on to is the fact that not only are they beiong conformists themselves by sliding into a "counter-culture" (which is a oxymoron in itself) and conforming to THEIR standards, but even worse, that that "counter-culture's" standards they are conforming to are actually defined by the norm because they are specifically and blatantly rebelling against that norm (simply doing this because they are not supposed to do this).
There is a big difference between being yourself and being what people reject and what shocks people specifically for that reason.

Nothing at all.
They are all the same pathetic losers inside sacrificing their identity to a fashion statement.
They claim to be rejectiung fashion but they are doing exactly what the fashionistas are doing by allowing what is in fashion to dictate what they do and do not wear.
They are also limiting who they are and what they represent themselves as to what they wear.
"But it's all society's fault. People shouldn't judge you based on what you wear. Society is being prejudiced!'
Bullshit!
If it weren't for people basing their judgement on what people wear, you wouldn't be wearig what you are wearing, so you are just as much of a guilty paticipant as they are.
Dress like Marilyn Manson all you want, but don't fucking pretend it makes you an individual or any better than those whe dress like Puffy, Britney or anyone else for that matter, you fucking hypocrite! (not you, Nysse, you know what people I am referring to)
