Are Republicans Preparing to Militarize?

The right embraces white supremacy, white nationalism, religious intolerance, and the whole shebang... at least the left has the stones to condemn such bigotry.

You need to find the door to peace, and it isn't in politics. Good day to you.

You need to find the door to peace, and it isn't in politics. Good day to you.

So because you cannot actually defend your (admittedly quite indefensible) position, you are running away...

Coward... bigoted coward.

"Both sides" is a one-side line - the Republican side, the side that did the bad stuff and is looking for cover from the blowback.

And that bad stuff is? Elected a Cheeto for president? Consistently elect politicians that destroy this country because of "save the babies", violently rub and kiss their guns in a vain attempt to enlarge their tiny penises? Republicans have done none of those... oh.... oh shit.

Well that does not mean Antifa or BLM is noble, it just means that if you didn't not go to the poll booths and voted against republicans, you have only yourself to blame.

In short the problem with the both side arrangement is that sure, ok, fine, they are both evil, alright, are you happy now... but one is worse then the other.

That's another right-wing narrative.

Seriously, on one side of our divided society people will kill you for being the wrong color. On the other side, they make jokes.

Yeah, you and your equivocation.

Bothsiderism. I don't buy it.
When a Democrat is in power, the extreme right has a consistent message - "Democrats are the worst thing ever. Elect us and we will fix all your problems."
When a Republican is in power, and demonstrates his/her incompetence, they have a similarly consistent message - "well, both sides do it; nothing new there."

Multnomah County GOP Approves Militarization

Via Willamette Week:

The Multnomah County Republican Party voted this week to use far-right milita groups as private security at events.

The resolution is the brainchild of party chairman James Buchal, who last month suggested to The Guardian that the GOP could use Oath Keepers and Three Percenters, two paramilitary groups, as security guards to protect them from antifascist protesters, or antifa.

‡

The approved resolution reads as follows:

"Proposed Resolution of Chairman Buchal: Resolve that the MCRP may utilize volunteers from the Oregon Three Percenters, Oath Keepers, and other security groups. To provide security where such volunteers are certified to provide private security service by the Oregon Department of Public Safety Standards and Training. Kay Bridges moved and Janice Dysinger seconded. Resolution passed."

The Republican Party is officially militarizing.

Chomsky forsaw this:

The left just gave the right a reason to go out and protest with their penis enhancers, just itching to kill them a commie to protect the nation. It was people of your ilk Tiassa that gave the right an excuse to militarize.

They would have done it before, but they never had an excuse so they didn't? If you say so - - - - -

It was people of your ilk Tiassa that gave the right an excuse to militarize.

Well, you find this behavior excusable. That tells us what we need to know.

See, the thing is that when you go out and make shit up just for the sake of some flaccid self-gratification, you generally end up saying more about yourself than anything else.

Tell me should we punch Nazis?

Excusable... more of your ad hominium attacks.

They would have done it before, but they never had an excuse so they didn't? If you say so - - - - -

You of all people should have noticed that the right have already been militarized, for decades now, they practically can't get erect without owning a gun, now they have an excuse to bring their dildos out in the public. The only good that can come out of this now is that hopefully unlike the
Greensboro massacre the sight of a bunch of redneck gun touting republicans leveling dozens of kids armed with sticks and bike locks will look really bad for the right.

They have been bringing their guns out in public for decades. They have never lacked for excuses, which are simply invented at need.

Never has before. Why would now be different?

Oh but this time they have someone to kill.

Never has before. Why would now be different?

Really? July 28, 1932 Hoover orders the army to clear out the Bonus Army protestors and squatters, MacAuthor with a murders anti-communist zeal rolls in on tanks and a thousand soldiers. Only two people died, ~1000 injured. The effect on the American electorate destroyed Hoover's chances at re-election, which if you might have guessed were already dismal because of the great depression.

Already↗ been over this, dude. Pay attention, for once.

Your long winded scree did not answer the question then and it does not answer the question now. Give me a "yes" or "no". Chomsky's answer for example is concise and spells out the problem perfectly: you empower the right by punching them, and they have all the guns too.

Oh but this time they have someone to kill.
They have always had someone to kill.
Really? July 28, 1932 Hoover orders the army to clear out the Bonus Army protestors and squatters,
The Bonus Army was not kids, and not leftwing. It was military veterans, who wanted to get paid as promised.
Chomsky's answer for example is concise and spells out the problem perfectly: you empower the right by punching them, and they have all the guns too.
You do not empower the right by punching them, and Chomsky does not say you do.
He says they are already empowered, in that way, and so you stand to lose any such fight you pick.

They have always had someone to kill.

Yes yes your old song and dance, "it all the same" therefor today is no different or notable and we should do nothing, go tell Tiassa that then, go tell him that the republicans have always militarized and why should we give a fuck and lets all just stand in a circle and see who has to eat the soggy cracker?

The Bonus Army was not kids, and not leftwing. It was military veterans, who wanted to get paid as promised.

Blah blah blah, to the right wing they were "communist" end of story.

You do not empower the right by punching them, and Chomsky does not say you do. He says they are already empowered, in that way, and so you stand to lose any such fight you pick.

Yeah sure, so do you want to punch nazis? Do you support nazi punchers? All I'm saying is that well if they have to punch nazis, well maybe some good can come of it when their bullet riddled bodies hit the floor.

Why can't you answer the question? I happen to remember you demanding I pledge my alligence to the total equality and human rights of women, full stop, and I did so with ease, so why can't you simply answer a yes or no question with "yes " or "no"? And if you think I'm a troll then why are replying to me?
