How about hurdles?

I was wondering how long it would take for that clip to surface here.
Michelle Jenneke. Internet Sensation.
Yeah, ok. So has anyone asked themselves why they think this clip is so damned sexy? Why it absolutely blows some American girls telling why they'll continue wearing their bikinis in beach volleyball
out of the water?
Look. Sexy isn't about
saying you are, about planning it for viewer reaction... it's about
being it. Michelle Jenneke... does anyone think that clip was in any way orchestrated, planned, anything other than 19 year old exuberance made reality?
This was a teenage girl who'd achieved something she had aimed for for a long time, and was there, and enjoying every damned second of it. She's a hurdler. Even the hip-wiggling made sense, in context. Do you think she had a set of earphones on and was listening to some some vapid, brainless, 80's pop song? Hell no. She was a young girl, in her prime, and having the time of her life. she wasn't thinking about her boyfriend other than that he might have been watching... and she certainly wasn't thinking she was there for
boys.
This clip is a moment. A point in time. This is Michelle Jenneke.
I would happily take a shotgun to whoever put that clip up to
that soundtrack. I'd be smiling every second of it. Boom. No loss to the world.
Both barrels to that guy who put up that other clip of himself in the background. Youtube it. You'll see.
What makes this so sexy is that there was no plan, no calculated ploy, no newspaper article. The cynical view of Michelle Jenneke being filmed at
that moment is that it will result in one of only two things... she'll never do it again, or she'll do it again for attention knowing people are watching. It will never, in either instance, ever approach anything like that clip was.
The best thing about it is that we got to see it.
The worstthing about it is that we got to see it.
