This is now Obamas economy, and problem, George has been out of office for almost 3 years, and the Democrats were in control of congress since 2007, both the House, and the Senate, they were the one who authorized the spending.
Just how much fiscal responsability did Obama, Reed, Pelosi and the Democrats show in not passing a budget for 2011???
And Nancy Pelosi, if she had Her way would not have passed the 2011 budget, She voted against it.
Well I think it is pretty evident now that Boehner never had control of his caucus. The markets are starting to tank.
Boehner's "bipartisan" bill cannot even pass the House. If Boehner's bipartisan bill was truely bipartisan as Boehner claimed last evening on national TV, then he should not have have any difficulty getting it through the House - even if it did misrepresent the cost savings.

Has been in office for 3 years but has not been able to put in place the tax program that he campaigned on.
He may have had a good take on the problem. We'll never know.
Nope. Nor has Boehner, Cantor, Ryan, McConnell etc.
If Boehner decides to implement Obama's plan, then yes, it is Obama's plan that will be used to attempt to deal with the economy.
If he blocks it, and the markets tank as a result, then it's his problem (and more importantly his party's.)
This evening I think it is pretty clear Boehner cannot lead the House. That has been apparent to me for many weeks now. He has been reassuring business interests that he would deliver and the nation would not default on its debts. But it is very apparent this evening that he cannot deliver.
Instead of trying to be speaker of the whole House, he has been appeasing the extremists in his party. Now he has private parts in a wringer. He told the nation he would pass a "bipartisan" budget bill in the House on Wednesday. It is now Thursday evening. He has wasted time with temper tantrums, walking out of negotiations, blamed others for his faults for months now. And now the duty is clearly on his shoulders and he is crumbling. I wonder if he is crying. Unfortunately, the nation is going to be feeling some real pain in no small part due to his failings.
