greetings all, it seems the message board has been updated to a new vbullitin version. I don't mind it except that godam alien in the upper left. WTF? this ain't speuodsciforums.com anyway, how do you guys like it?
Threads seem a little cluttered. Its actually a little harder to follow the conversation. Maybe it just takes getting used to.
I think its because the bands across the page (the usernames, avatars ) is too wide. Breaks up the page too much. Other than that, and the Alien, and the asteroid about to hit planet Earth, its actually OK.
with the facelift, they should have allowed either: 1. larger avatars or 2. signatures not both, though.
OK the looks nice. lose the Alien, this is a science forum right. And change the post setting to "legacy" its better.
what's the check mark for on my post? what's the grey circle for? what's the green circle for? what does the +quote do? why did you screw up the page layout for? it was fine the way it was. what's next? 8X10 glossy avatars and webpage signatures? this board is about the posts. reminds me when i got XP, i figured well give it a week you'll like it. well it's been over a month since i got XP and i can't stand it. edit i figured out to hover the mouse over said items to get a pop up. yeah i know, i gripe too much.
Imo, the font is too small and that alien mask is insulting. These are Sciforums, not Pseudoscience or Anal probing forums! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! At least I had the impression....
Ugh. Yeah. The font is weird. Can't we use the old font? And the alien and the picture has to go. Also, there's no way to get the simplified post info the way it used to be? Do we need to know join date and location? I don't think so. Well. Damn. Meh.
I agree, our time of joining and location has absolutely no reason to be showed on the main page, it's irrelevant. More doesn't mean better. p.s. yup, no refresh on quick reply
