It's very wrong in my opinion to have these two subjects in the same forum. I'd rather prefer that they would be in different forums. Just a thought
I think that physicians and mathematicians are two different subspecies of the species Homo Sapiens Sapiens. Mathematicians are more precise, so they will tend to drown in the trash that is sometimes posts by the crackpots of the zone. And when I like to want a dish of maccaroni, I like maccarroni, not maccarroni mixed with potatoes.
In principle, I agree, Lucas, but at the moment, the amount of traffic to the forum doesn't require splitting up Maths and Physics, at least in my opinion.
I really think that doing the split the traffic in sciforums would augment in large amounts. I have experiences from other forums that a split of this kind is beneficious. I think that there's a lack of mathematicians in SF, and a section for them would attract them. Well, I think that would be a good idea
i say keep as few as possible with the current site bandwidth, it is easier to browse a few general forums than 50 specific ones, once one of us donates a new server then forum splits would be more feasable
Is not breaking the forum into 50 sections, is only separating two sections that deserve to have their own space. But, if you people prefere that the traffic in sF don't augment, way to go then
