OK, ok, deleted...
James is right, I'm outa here and dear George is on ignore. Bu-bye.

George has a point. Merely insulting him does nothing to address his actual claims, despite their being ridiculous. So, can we please restrict posts to addressing George's nonsense, and stop the ad hominems?

It's one thing to have a good laugh at ludicrous claims by George that he has calculated God's height, or that he has proven there's a 1 in 3 chance of life after death, or whatever, but criticising him for his homelessness or whatever is just mean.

George needs to realise that claiming he has a Masters degree in physics doesn't help to advance his arguments, even if it is true. Attempting to argue from authority is a fallacy. Nor does it matter whether George was pals with Einstein or if George met the President once, or if George was once on the cover of Vogue. The only thing that matters is whether George can establish the truth of any of his bizarre claims.

So far, we're turning up a blank on that last front. But maybe if George can get over feeling heckled, he might be able to put forth some kind of coherent argument. Let's see. (It's still perfectly fine to laugh at unsupported ludicrous claims.)
Fine by me.

George, why do you feel the average American height is the metric to use for calculating god's height?
We're a bit taller in Denmark.
How about zulus for that matter?
You mentioned nutrition, so why choose the US as the benchmark since US food can't be sold in the EU for not living up to our standards?

Also Bethlehem in that era would not be close to current nutrition availability

Fair enough. Though my query to him about the homeless shelter was not to ridicule him for being homeless, but to challenge whether his assertion that he has been homeless is plausible. That was a subject he introduced into the thread, gratuitously, and from the photo it looked to me like more made-up nonsense. I'm still not convinced.

But he's a loony all right, so I'll put him on Ignore, to stop him goading me into making more irritated responses.

According to George moving his thread to 'Pseudoscience' was a big insult. This is about gods, so put it in 'religion'. This is a religious person (George) 'explaining' something he believes about a god.

The only thing that matters is whether George can establish the truth of any of his bizarre claims.
My bold↑
Is that saying the claims about gods in the 'religion' forum are '' the truth'' ?

Obviously not to the religious person

The issue with George is more his insistence he has proof (well Scientific Proof Of god SPOG - even that claim goes down to

"The first experimental measurement of God; to a 2-decimal point"

Has George posted the calculations of the experimental measurement?

Expectations which were very high are now down to the thickness of toilet tissue

Will we get sightings of George's workings before Post 500 - currently 328

My 2 cents bet nope

:)

No the claims made are supposedly based on science so Pseudo is right. He seems to say that God is a psychological construct of the brain. It is certainly nothing to do with religion, even though God features in it.

A psychological construct that is 7' 3" tall.

Famous last words!

Who said (You know it makes sense) just before they died?
:)

[GH]
In World War II a Nazi technician was examining captured British torpedo with a bar magnet. The guy next to him said "be careful that magnet might set it off!". The guy with the magnet said "you know it makes sense", and that turned out to be his "famous last words"!

TO: Michael 345:
FROM: George E Hammond MS physics
... You will notice that I did not send one of my "warning – complaint" messages to you. This because I believe you are the only honest, sincere, and concerned person to post to this thread. Even though you are a severe critic of my thesis!
... Meanwhile, JamesR the moderator, keeps on demanding that I publish my "proof" of my thesis. Fact of the matter is that post #1, the 713 word paper entitled "The Psychometric Measurement of God" IS THE POSTED PROOF of my theory. Unfortunately (for you and them) it is written over your heads, you're not qualified to read it. This is because in order to read that paper you have to have the following academic qualifications:
1 – An advanced degree in physics
2 – A PhD level understanding of "Psychometry"
3 – A graduate level understanding of neurology,
.... Biology, history, philosophy, statistics,
.... Psychology, theology, anatomy, embryology,
.... And Mathematics
And obviously no one on this list besides me (80 years old) has that kind of an education!
... So why am I posting it here? And the simple answer is: PUBLICITY !
Obviously only a handful of people in the entire WORLD have the above qualifications. And this is not unusual for the appearance of a historic multi-disciplinary scientific discovery.
... For instance, when Einstein published his theory of RELATIVITY in 1915, there were only a handful of people in the world who were QUALIFIED TO READ IT – namely: Hilbert, Eddington, Minkowski, Poincare and a handful of others.
... So my effort is mainly to publicize my "discovery" far and wide until, via the grapevine, one of these highly educated professionals finally hears about it and decides to look into the matter ! Right now, Google is literally covered with my name and this theory and my website, and is just a matter of time before some highly educated and responsible person (say Bill Dembski or Richard Dawkins or someone in the Vatican for instance) hears about it !
... Okay, all for now M-345,

fyi
According to Lee R. Berger of the University of Witwatersrand, numerous fossil bones indicate some populations of Heidelbergensis were "giants" routinely over 2.13 m (7 ft) tall and inhabited South Africa between 500 000 and 300 000 years ago.

I also hope one of the - handful of people in the entire WORLD - come across your

and I hope your expectation is rewarded

:)

[George E Hammond MS physics]
... I've already been richly rewarded. Can you imagine what it feels like to be the only man in the history of the world who knows for an absolute scientific certainty that there IS A GOD ! And furthermore, knows precisely, scientifically, WHAT GOD IS !
... You've gotta be kiddin me!!

George
