Been here three days. Bunch of problems. Mainly kidney infection and failure in both kidneys. White blood cell count is high. Lot of blood in urine. Will be here for a while. Thank god I have my iPhone lol.
Yes I too hope you beat the odds. I have not had much interaction with you so I am more worried about MacM. His last post was 12/17/09 and he had some serious lung cancer problems. Loved the cartoon cosmic lol. Still in hospital. Kidneys still f***ked up. Hoping to here some good news today. But then again I've been hoping for some good news for almost a week now. Docs don't tend to say much which pisses me off. They still can't figure out what's causing the infection but they are trying to find some way to reverse it. White blood cells still high but lowered a bit with some antibiotics as of yesterday. Waiting to here from doc this morning to see if white blood cells have either stayed the same or lowered. Still have blood in urine. Trying to keep optimistic. Got my best friend here w me. Wouldn't want to be around anyone else in this situation.
ADUKI BEANS!!!! Start eating them ASAP. Why, they clean your blood, your liver, and your kidneys of crap! Incorpate it into your normal diet...learn to season them so they aren't so boring! You won'T have this problem if you do...unless you drown you system in toxins...avoid drinking, coffee, smoking... And, I too, send you my goodwill that you may recover quickly as possible!
Most of the time by sleeping. When I'm not sleeping I'm usually watching Tv or surfing the web on my iPhone. Yes, hospitals ARE boring.

Ugh the shittiest part about this whole thing (beside the pain) is the naussea from the drugs. It's hard to stomach this hospital food on it's own but as soon as u add the drugs it's like becoming bulemic or something. Nothing stays down.
