Steel is a common misnomer of the Pittsburgh football team, which usually refers to a strong metal made of mostly iron containing between 0.05 - 1.4 wt% carbon.
With a tensile modulus of 205 GPa, steel is stiffer than aluminum and titanium, but not stiffer than a boner.
