He did not get it right, because the statement he learned hundreds of time while down on Earth, is only true to Earth. When he was on moon that all did not matter anymore...man...mankind...

Because incidentally, he took a greater step than the mankind, it is 50 years since last foot was set on the moon, mankind's step is small in proportional to giant leap by the astronauts aboard moon.

I do definitely agree with the sentiment.

However, just like "Live Free or Die" is a wonderful personal motto, it turns to shit when you manipulate it into a policy to be inflicted on others - just ask the Iraqi people.
