Where the hell's Genji when you need him? I totally missed the first week of Survivor, but caught the first episode tonite on "on demand" and then set up my season pass.

So after watching the first two episodes...

The yellow team is definitely the loser tribe. Their first mistake was voting off that chicken guy. They avoided a big mistake by not voting off Dave tonight. That pro-wresler chick was really annoying. I also hated the rings in her lips. Next to go should be that black girl who complained they didn't spend enough time talking and just lays around at camp all the time.

On the red team, that Christian girl should probably be first off. Very stupid move on her part sharing the info about the idol with the gay mormon. The poker player seems lazy, but was quite good at the challenge.

And what about that giant black grave digger guy? Is he cool or what? He's like some kind of super hero bashing thru walls and carrying that Dragon thing like it was a toothpick!

Overall, looks like a good season.

I've heard that their digestive systems are much better suited to them being carnovores. Maybe that's why they're going extinct. They're eating the wrong food! And you're always hearing about Panda's too stupid to mate at the zoo.

What the giant panda eats
Many think that the giant panda only eats stems, leaves and fresh new shoots of bamboo, but it will also eat berries, fruit, flowers, fungi, grass, bark, bird's eggs and insects. It also eats flowers like crocuses and irises which grow in its mountain habitat. In the wild it will also catch fish and hunt small birds and rodents, like bamboo rats. This is not enough to live on, though, so it mainly eats various species of bamboo.

The giant panda's diet is 99% vegetarian, but it is actually classed as a carnivore! It has a short digestive system, which is normal for carnivores, but herbivores normally have longer digestive systems. In other words, its digestive system is not well suited to its diet. The panda's intestines are too short to digest bamboo properly. The reason is that it descended from a carnivore that lived millions of years ago. Over time, the food supply changed, and there was less meat, but plenty of bamboo. So, the giant panda's ancestors started eating bamboo. The panda evolved, but its intestines didn't. OMG SURVIVOR!!!! I Totally forgot about this awesomeness of a show....goD I am getting back on track.

I'm watching right now. Courtney's performance in the challenge was the worst performance by any player in the history of the show. She personally lost the challenge for them and didn't even seem to be trying.

Well, despite her horrific performance in the challenge, Courtney survived thanks to the Christian girl's incredible stupidity. But, judging by the vote, Courtney is definitely out of the loop and may be the next to go.

Anyway, my favorite survivor so far is the giant black gravedigger. He was throwing guys off that platform like crazy today. I think he'd be the first black man to win if he pulls it off.

If he was the only white guy in an otherwise all black group, then yes. It's a distinguishing characteristic.

It reminds me of this PC idiot from college trying to point out this black guy he knew in a crowd of white people. He was so PC he didn't want to say the guy was black. He was like, "The guy with the white shirt" Of course, there were lots of guys with white shirts. Then, "Over by that pole". Well, there were a lot of poles. Finally he said, "The black guy". Then we could instantly pick him out.

Survivor is a reasonable enough show but there have been so few contestants ever who have shown any great surviving skills.

It's incomprehensible to me watching it sometimes how completely stupid most of the contestants are. Fiji for example, guess what guys, there's probably going to be some water based challenges and NOBODY seems to think it might be a good idea to practise their swimming or the balancing abilities for that matter.

And I tell you what, being a spearfisherman and watching there's tragics go out into awesome spots like Fiji and come back with absolute tiddlers ( small fish) is just laughable.

I completely agree. How is it that, year after year, no one knows how to start a fire? The boy scouts do it. You know you're going to need that skill on survivor, but no one seems to ever be able to do it until they get the flint!

The giant black grave digger even commented that he spent one afternoon at Barnes and Noble reading up on survival skills and seems to be the only one that knows anything.

Not to mention strategy. So many idiots start trying to remove the strong members early on so they won't have to compete with them later. Not realizing it's a team game until the merge! Geting rid of your strong members before the merge only causes you to go to tribal council more often. Then you go into the merge with fewer members and the other tribe just picks you off one by one.

I fuckin' hate it when they play games and arbitrarily switch members. And this week they switch up the tribes and royally screw the two best players. I'm glad James wasn't voted off. He's by far the best player in the game and deserves to win. I hope he can somehow get revenge on those girls who purposely lost the challenge.

So Todd won. He deserved it. He played well, and was in control of the game practically the whole time. It really sucks that Denise was demoted from lunch lady to janitor because she was "too big a distraction" for the kids. That's ridiculous. The effect would have worn off soon enough. It was nice of the show to give her $50 grand for her trouble, though.
