Lucky for me my husband isn't a football fan, so I'm not a football widow. But if he was, a big Super Bowl Party would be his present for Valentine's Day Anyways, the commercials have alsways been a big part of teh Super Bowl. Do you have a favourite? I love the Budweiser frogs and lizards, but this one is my all time favourite a close second.
I hope the Saints win. There is a documentary on about great Superbowl ads tonight. Screw them.... My recent fav ad is the "Would you like a pony?" bank ad, because it is so cruel and the look on the kid's face is priceless...
I get to work my second job (night club / video lounge) that day. Supposed to be very busy. Honestly, I didn't even know who was in the Superbowl until one of my employees asked me who I hoped would win. "Arnold, I'd have to know who's in the Superbowl to have an opinion on who should win. Seeing as how I've never watched a Superbowl in my life, it's safe to say, I don't really have an opinion. . ." ~String
I'm in the same boat as you, String. I've never watched the Super Bowl, and probably won't this time. I do watch the World Cup, though.
I watch the commercials and half time show. My boyfriend is inviting his few marine buddies over to watch it and they destroy everything they touch so, the house will be a disaster by time the game is over. But it's okay because the final party game of the night will be, "the pick up and fix everything I messed up" game. They can wash dishes while they're at it.

CBS can suck my fundament I'm actually considering whether it's worth the argument I'll have with my brother and friends if I decide to boycott the Super Bowl this year. I'm already considering whether or not I'll watch another CBS program this year. Given that such demonstrations are futile, it doesn't really seem worth it.
