It's good. Surprisingly, there are some little details they didn't touch, like when Lando clips his lifeline onto the Falcon as he rises up to meet Luke. Really. Didn't touch it. To the other, they were generally more irreverent this time. Also to the plus side, the animation is gorgeous. Make sure to get an original version, and not a broadcast; there's plenty of profanity. R2 in the swamp at Dagobah is hilarious.

Really. It's good. Better, I think, than Blue Harvest.

I liked Blue Harvest better. Blue Harvest had more jokes that were about Star Wars, this was a series of typical Family Guy gags that happened to be set in the Star Wars universe. The jokes that were memorable were more about Family guy and its tropes than those of Star Wars itself.

Stewie's gay/effeminant, I get it. When your leg is hurt you clutch it and hiss in pain for an extended period (or when your out of breath, you remain out of breath for a while). Plus appearances from the cookie monster (which was amusing, but not Star Wars related), Tom Selleck, Rodney Dangerfield and Don Knots (whom I have never associated with Empire).

It was not a bad episode, and there were a few shots at Empire itself (though only two stick out in my mind), but setting it in the midst of Empire's plotline seemed largely superfluous to me.

The Cookie Monster thing worked for me ....

True enough. I adored the opening narrative. That was just fucking hilarious. And I do think Cookie Monster was appropriate. But that's just me.

    Side Note:

I counted three characters who appeared in separate roles between the two episodes we have: Carter Pewterschmidt (Uncle Owen, Emperor Palpatine), Joe Swanson (Biggs, Imperial Recon Droid) and Mort Goldman (Jawa, Lando Calrissian). I might have missed someone.

Oh, and has anyone seen Greased Up Deaf Guy in either of these?

(Part Three is tentatively titled, We Have A Bad Feeling About This.)
