Alright the mood around the forum is kind of a downer right now, there are various threads about things some might get depressed reading. I had the idea we should make a new thread about the stuff we do for fun in our lives. Why don't you guys start telling me how you go about having a good time, either alone or together with someone else. Give us some examples about what you've done in the past along with future plans you've made.

    I'll begin...

Most of the time I surf the net while at work, I play and chat with people online. I sometimes visit forums other than this one and post on a wide range of topics. The most recent place I went was a forum dedicated to the missing person Stacy Peterson, she lives in Bolingbrook (where I am) and has vanished. Without going into long details I went there to show my support but ended up being banned for asking questions

I also like watching Anime online at various websites, they stream it right to you through divx and you can download it too (if you want). I never keep it because it's more like renting it or borrowing it from your friend, IMO. Anime has saved me from going utterly mad and I'm thankful to have the net for watching it.

Also I use to make websites for myself but gave that up because I wasn't skilled enough. I tried using CSS then Flash, while my design skills were great my programming ones weren't

I'll write more later right now I have some customers, so what do you do / can you suggest.

I imagine falling through clouds of threads...my wingless angel body falling upside down. It's fun...darksidZz, you should try it...take a chance cause you might grow. Oh what you waiting, what you waiting, what you waiting for?

Bodysurfing, two kinds: getting slippery with the Spud Empress and catching waves. It's my communion with nature, swimming out through the breakers, waiting for a massive roller, timing the takeoff to perfection, scorching down the face, bottom turns on two ribs, tucking in, trimming, wide graceful turns, barrell rolls. It's unbelievably invigorating for me.
Love to do it naked under a full moon too!
I am, by my own and everyone elses admition, the best there is.
I do this better than anything else I do.
The only one who comes close is my twelve year old son ( he dolphin surfs better than me)
When we get good conditions, we carve and rip, we love it.

I'm with spud on this one. Bodysurfing is wonderful. Although for me I tend to make sure the break isn't too big. Last time I went into really big surf, I ended up miss-timing the lunge for take off and ended up getting badly dumped... the resulting sand burn/rash on my legs and side hurt like hell.:bawl:

I quite like skiing as well. There is nothing like just flying down a mountain, gliding on snow.. hearing nothing but your own breathing and the wind whizzing past your ears. Swimming also relaxes and invigorates me. Especially when there is no one else around and you dive under and start plowing through the water and all you can hear is your heartbeat and feeling your chest expand as it demands more oxygen.. coming up and taking that big breath of air and going back under again.. Been so long since I could swim like that.. Hard to swim like that nowdays with the kids hanging off my limbs in the water.

I've got an exercise ball that I lie on face-up with arched back and arms outstretched overhead and tummy concaved and buttocks firm as I let my abject feelings of dejection and futility slip away like the wake of a ship passing through an endless sea. The horizon never shifts.

Sometimes I just lie there bored to death, like a Paul Delvaux.

    Sometimes I manage to disappear.

    Ooops.

    Wrong thread.

i see, i did not understand the question.

i really enjoy stacking grapes in the corner of the room and photographing them. then i observe them to see if they move or rearrange themselves. after about a day or so, i will mark where they were and then toss them out. then i do it all over again. it is a blast!

I break into the local morgue and rape some corpses...

Ok, trolling over, I listen to music, heavy metal usually, play the guitar, talk to people over the net...

    Haven't you seen clerks?

Collage - move out. Give her a reality check and she either helps you move(good) or cleans her act up(good). Win win.

The kids grow up in an environment with less conflict.

His case is classic, woman changed after marriage...expects man to change too. Of course she's got the old "collateral" - kids. Well fuck that, just because the Law on her side doesn't mean he's gotta be her bitch.

I agree, but I'm a woman. I'd almost be guaranteed the kids.
Its more difficult for the guy.

All men change after marriage or even living with a woman. We are barbarians.

I agree Barbarians. Chaos before and chaos after, is not really a change.

Googled it. Usually in hanging victims. I wonder how long it lasts once they are cut down. Cripes! I can't believe I'm wondering that.
    See what you did!!

Reading the comments around here, I don't feel like I am missing out on marriage. But I would like the sex that comes with marriage *sigh*
