What say you? They are not science (though some may say that politics is science), a lot of spitful anger, mindless borging of some ideas and highly subjective posts. I think if sciforums want to be more like science forums and have a lot more enjoyable environment those mentioned forums have to be deleted (or suspended).
We should close them. And in their place we should put a forum dedicated to homosexuals. Since that's what most conversation around here centers on.
ethics isnt about science nor is philosophy free thoughs is DEFINITLY not what about art and culture? or scifi? not to mention the crazy sections
Politics and economics are science. Art is very scientifical, if you look at the technical side of it. I think Avatar needed another sip of wine.
Says who Frankenstein? I say get rid of the Cesspool if you really want to turn this place around. After all, it isn't a science forum either. Avatar, maybe more stringency in there, a looser definition of Cesspool material (as if it wasn't already), more bannings?
I think the politics forum serves a purpose. It keeps all the politi-loonies locked up in one place, and serves as a place to dump contemptible contemporary issues. Fuck, I alliterated.
i personally think that RELIGION is where the loonys are B\W cesspool actually serves a perpose. It is there to help clean up freethoughts and the other sections. i just think it needs to be flushed more frequently
When I got my PhD i became a philosophical Doctor, to distinguish me from the unscientific medical doctors. Philosophy is the foundation of science.
What about a forum where you may post only sentences, or just a string of words, consisting of maximum 6 words. And they are not to have any substantial content value. I don't know what to call it though.
Let's face it Politics is really the only forum that gets enough attention to warrent the costs...and honestly who doesn't enjoy politics?
