If a Muslim starts rioting over Donald Duck and I'm close by, he's getting dropped kicked in his mouth. Fucking lunatics.

I usually try to at least feign religious tolerance, but what I'm seeing over a fucking cartoon is just ridiculous. These people need something else in their lives, this Islam crap is worthless.

 

Noooooooo we should kneel before islam, and bow to muslim demands on cartoons, we should also ban the beano, the dandy & all marvil comics too, and movies like batman or superman should be banned too, anything that is to do with comic strips, or cartoons needs to be banned, we should not upset our muslim brothers.

Christ i have a 5 year old nephew who is more mature than any supposed adult muslim, this worldwide cartoon farce is a joke, not one non muslim world leader, is speaking out on this matter, they should be telling muslims how ridiculous they are looking, and that there religon will never be taking serious again in the west.

Quite why muslims are shouting death to america in these worldwide demonstrations further shows there stupidity, the americans have not even printed the cartoons.

The united nations apologist Koffi annan said today that newspaper editors need to stop reprinting the cartoons, and they are also considering a new united nations bill on religous slander, fuck me muslims say jump, and we all say how high.

Now that they are going to win this cartoon war, what next the alcohol wars, the brothel wars, are they going to demand we stop selling alcohol too in the west, & that we take porn mags off our newsagent shelves, and prostitutes have to be banned too.

What about western clothes will they be banned too, will we all be forced to wear arab robes, so as not to offend our muslim brothers in europe. Oh & no more nudist beaches have to cover those tits up, and there faces too.

Bow & kneel to islam bend over too, we are all going to get a good rogering off them before our world leaders have the balls to deal with islam.

People are all the time taking stabs at other religions. Look at the Mormon Church. They're all the time being harrassed. Like in South Park they make fun of Jospeh Smith (or was it John Smith? I'm really cant' remember) and you don't see the Mormons going insane about it. And it may be hurtful to some people, but boohoo get over it.
People are all the time joking about the Pope, and about other Catholic preist. In fact there are a lot of jokes about Preist raping Children. And I know that that really happens but the muslims aren't exactly peaceful people themselves. I'm not saying what the preist did is right,because of course it's not. I'm just saying that facts are facts, you know? Mohammed did kill a lot of people and you can't ignore that because it's a fact and someone bringing it up, even in an offencive way, it's the the way it is. And though I may hate the things people say about Catholic preists I know that what they say is true so I can't deny it and throw a fit about it. You see what I'm saying?

 

This whole situation is getting to be quite funny. When I say funny, I mean it in a "what the hell!" kind of way.

Just read an article on the BBC News site (http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/4684652.stm) and I had to chuckle at a few things.

As vincent has said, the US had nothing to do with these cartoons at all yet these people have gone on the rampage. Clearly they do not know all the facts and have been swept up in this asinine matter through false assumptions.

Anyway, the cartoons were printed in Europe. A place where you can actually print things like that. I know what I'm about to say is racist but for crying out loud, if you don't like the way things are done here, go back to a place where you do like the way things are done.

It is not shining too well on the Muslim community as a whole. I know a majority of the Muslim community have absolutely nothing to do with this whole "arguement" but these few are giving them a bad name. More so.

Winona Ryder movies offend the hell outta me (how does she still get work :bugeye: ) but do I go about rioting outside Universal Studios? No. I deal with it. If you're angry, write a letter of complaint like the rest of us folk do. At worse, do a peaceful march saying "Hey, we didn't find that funny." But burning down embassies because you're offended is the act of a child. They're just throwing a wobbly hoping people will pay attention and give them what they want.

And what's sad is that no-one important is going to stand up and say "Hey, stop acting like children, you dolts!" because if they do, the country they live in will probably be targeted by 'errorists. I mean, they had those placards in London that said 'Denmark will get it's 9/11 and 7/7'. It's like treading on eggshells with these few people.

 

the thing is, not all muslims are like this. the ones getting upset about this are the fundamentalists from an outdated culture. they are comparable to the christians who went on crusades. there are many muslims that we never hear about because they are peaceful and only concern themselves with the well-being of their community. the ones acting violently are oppressed or have skewed perspectives about the US and other foreign countries because of what little news from the outside world trickles down to them. you never hear about peaceful muslims because, hey, whats really interesting about a bunch of muslims doing nothing?

the thing with the mohammad cartoons is like this. imagine if you went back in time to when rome was fully christian. you would be hung up for saying something even remotely sacriligeous. the middle east is still stuck in these kind of times in many ways, culturally.

 

Exactly. You never hear anything in the news about Amish folk mainly because, well, they don't do a lot of newsworthy things.

I shouldn't be laughing but that gave me a good chuckle as well. And as Vincent said, these world leaders need to speak up. Right now everyone trying to be "politically correct" with their comments. Just tell these people they are fucking retarded for rioting over a damn cartoon so this nonsense might stop.

 

What's confusing is how do these people think burning down embassies is going to help? They're putting the lives of people in danger and they had nothing to do with the cartoon at all. They're just sitting there doing their job, they might have glanced at the paper and then suddenly OMG! The building is burning down. That's some good ol' fashioned logical thinking there.

People are actually dying because of this cartoon. I'm not sure whether they're actually dying for this cartoon though as that would just be silly.

If we ran newspapers this way, they would be blank pieces of paper, that is the only way not to offend people, the simple fact is 5 billion of the worlds population dont have a problem with cartoons or newspapers, 1 billion do have a problem, that 1 billion need to re-educate themselves on how to behave in a civilised society, & that burning embassies & calling for the bombing of europe every day, is not the way to live your life.

They need to be questioning there own beliefs too, like we do, what are they sheep they burn danish flags every day, fuck me last week they did not even know what the danish flag looked like, and if you asked them ware denmark was, i would imagine 90% would have said in latin america or africa, yet they are quite happy to burn the flags of denmark, insulting every single dane, what have the danish people done to them, one man made these cartoons not the entire population, yet they want to destroy all of denmark.
