I truely believe my wife needs to get orgainsied, so does anyone know fo any courses or classes she could go on to sort herself out.

unfortunately her disorgainisation puts her under unnecessary pressure which then puts us and the children under pressure and stress..

    your thoughts pls?

You're a brave man Zak: I don't know of any mum/housewife being disorganised and I think what you're referring to is almost a precedent.

Give clear examples of this so called disorganisation and I'll mull over, although if you find out any appropriate courses, let me know as I want to enrol!

well its just like she leaves the cupbaord doors opn in the house, doesnt clear up after dinner, doesnt hang her coat away in the cupbaord all the time. She is very untidy but hates the fact that she is untidy!! things like that really....

Another classic of hers is to recycle almost everything, like we had some desert the other day from the supermarket and she put the rubbish plastic casing ion the dish washer cos she thinks it maybe helpfull to keep it!!!

    errr why am i brave???

'cause most wives and husbands for thta matter, would have their paartner's guts for garters if they thought they were laundering lame habits over a forum, unless of ccourse they were truly supportive and wanted to see your enjoyment as well as any identified posted courses they could undertake!

There are people who help organize. But if you do this to a young Mom, she's gonna take it very very personally. As if she can't do her job well enough. Just ask her if she has ever thought of it. Have it be her idea.

I don't see it as you complaining about her, but trying to help. There are things that help a person get organized. I was a single parent raising a toddler. I had to be organized or it would have been mass chaos. There are tricks to getting/keeping things organized.
    How old are your kids?

its easy if, everyone would clear up the dinner dishes, for example, my son who is 9yrs old, has to put the dishes in the kitchen my daughter then washes them while my BF drys them, i cooked why should i do the dishes aswell? But like i said it hasnt always been like that

they make they're own beds when they get up, they put they're own coats and jackets away, and i try and do everything else, when my son was 4 he had to "help" tidy his room,

Yep, Luci is right. little kids love to help so she should take advantage of it while she can. If they are old enough to get stuff out, they are old enough to put stuff away.
Zak, your kids are old enough to set a table, put away their clothes, dust, feed pets, etc.

    Do they have chores?

well yeah she knows she is disorgainsied, she even has a cleaner in twice a wek for 3 hours a day but that doesnt make things that much better, thorugh no fault of the cleaner!!

My kids try to help but only when they are up for it, unless of cos you get all face ache and loud voices with them, then they do it!!
