I went to the Wikipedia front page just now and saw that today, February 12[Sup]th[/Sup], is Darwin Day, the anniversary of Charles Darwin's birth.

Let's take this opportunity to remember and celebrate a milestone in science: the birth of evolutionary biology.

spidergoat, that is disturbing mostly because anything the church does is bent out of proportion and manipulated. For example their celebration is not to celebrate him, but instead that god gave him the vision to see the design he'd created. They believe Darwin merely observed the intelligent design god had instore for humanity, which sadly makes me feel worried

It's good that several people in the religious community are getting with the program.

I would like to think that they instead think he discovered it, as in, without much intervention from God. But I do see your point. But at least they aren't denying facts, right? We should at least be happy for that.

    They're not?
The most blatant fact is that they're fucking wrong

    On topic:
And the Darwin prize goes to the astronaut who drove 900 miles in a diaper and the cop that had to search her week old diaper.
