If you had the choice of two women to wed, (Though of course the idea is quite absurd) And the first from her heels to her dainty head Was charming in every sense of the word: And yet in the past (I grieve to state), She never had been exactly "straight". And the second -- she was beyond all cavil, A model of virtue, I must confess; And yet, alas! she was dull as the devil, And rather a dowd in the way of dress; Though what she was lacking in wit and beauty, She more than made up for in "sense of duty". Now, suppose you must wed, and make no blunder, And either would love you, and let you win her -- Which of the two would you choose, I wonder, The stolid saint or the sparkling sinner? Robert W. since no human is without sin the "saint" is impossible. and since the OP says i must wed there is only one choice . . .
Good people are plain and boring? I sense a flaw in the logic. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! Anyway, as subjective as it is, neither, can't stand to be around true 'sinners' or boring people - what'd be the point in someone who can't make you laugh? Although I definately prefer a decent girl.
i seriously couldent answer this question to be totaly honest, i wouldent ever make a lifetime choice based on the description stated alone, i could only marry somebody who i spend time with in person not somebody described on paper. there has to be a friendship there mostly somebody i can get along with. peace.
Jesus Christ Chi---you and James R tend to take every post as if it were the most serious thing in the universe. Give me the bi chick.

I don't get it. You have to marry one of them? What does that mean? You cannot stay unmarried. You cannot marry anybody else. You have to marry one of them. Then marry whichever one because it would not be a real marriage marriage any way. A real marriage marriage by definition involves somebody you choose as your best choice for ideal spouse. Having to choose between to people when neither of them are your ideal choice for ideal spouse makes it a sham marriage anyway. Ergo, who really cares? Between the both, I would probably choose the first as it doesn't say anything bad about her. She is charming from head to toe while the other one is boring. Not to mention lacking in wit and beauty. What is the issue? Choose the one with good description versus one with bad descriotion?
It's a pun, beetle-brain. Cain't you revolyushin'ries read ? " (Though of course the idea is quite absurd) " Get up off the floor out of the foot-stink build up to where there's some oxygen and snap out of it.
