I have several on this list, but my favourite isn't on it. Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! I love the soundtrack to The Lost Boys. The #1 soundtrack surprised me, but considering who made the movie, it shouldn't. He has very eclectic tastes. http://www.moviefone.com/insidemovies/2009/05/28/best-movie-soundtracks/
That list SUCKS! I've heard better soundtracks than most of those movies they think are so great. Example, Dr. Zhivago, which was masterfully scored.
the only soundtracks my family owns is moulin rouge and rocky horror picture show. so while they get my vote by default they're still worth a listen. requiem for a dream's theme was pretty awesome. it really added to the whole 'everything spinning out of control' feeling the movie had. the warriors, terminator and robocop had good themes too.

You notice that the soundtrack for rocky and Star wars did not make the list yet they are 2 of the most used soundtracks in other movies as spoofs or just for recognition purposes
Off the Top of my head... Last of the Mohicans Schindler's List Conan Top Gun Saturday Night Fever When I was teenager.... Footloose
Quadrophenia. Shrek. Saw III. Saw IV. I never buy or listen to soundtracks but I know those movies have awesome songs.
Dude, what are you talking about? I found quite a few in there that are very good. -Blues Brothers -Grosse Pointe Blank (had to have grown up in the 80s to fully enjoy this one) -High Fidelity -Dirty Dancin -Natural Born Killers -Easy Rider -Dazed and Confused (also my favorite movie of all time. hands down) -Singles -Trainspotting The top three on that list are great soundtracks too. And I'll add one that wasn't on the list: -The Crow
Oh yeah I forgot..... Pulp Fiction (love that soundtrack) and Reservoir Dogs and of course Walk the Line
hehe... you remind me so much of Rob Gordon. Talk about an underrated movie. Whale Rider Fast and the Furious - Tokyo Drift The Crow Empire Records Trainspotting Underworld Gladiator I Am Sam

John Cusack is one of my favorite actors. Notice how I listed GPB in there too. I can relate to all the characters he plays so well. Better Off Dead and One Crazy Summer pretty much nail it, in fact.
Shit!!! How could I forget that one!! Please Register or Log in to view the hidden image! God that movie is so funny, I gotta watch it again soon.
Mine too. He's brilliant. Have you read the stuff he writes on Huffington Post? He's starting to remind me of Gonzo minus the paranoid schitzo stuff.
WTH...not even one John Williams? Not ANY Classical soundtrack in that list? I am impressed with O Brother Where Art Thou making #4, that movie turned me on to Bluegrass. HAH Shorty has never even sat through Conan the Barbarian.
