There is a difference between anime songs and J-rock and J-pop, anime songs are the songs that are made for the anime itself ( eg. Lacus Clyne songs, Sheryl Nome songs .etc ). I am assuming for this purpose it is all songs that is involved in an anime, not just songs made for it. Japanese music is a lot better if you know Japanese ( or in my case, half-know

Flow makes a lot of anime openings and endings. Macross got plenty of anime songs, its soundtrack is what it is known for, Code Geass got a few good ones as well, as far as I know ( which is not very far ) May'n and Hitomi Kuroishi are the best anime singers. I haven't met anyone that have watched Persona Tirnity Soul and Bokurano ( of course besides on anime forums ). I know one person on Sciforums that have watched Full Metal Panic. They are obscure animes to North America as it seems.

death note is cool, but i only watch a one dvd, i'll buy another one, it's not exepensive at all here, it's 1dt, means about 0.900 u.s. dollars
