Would you like to live in a world where every new day is similar to the previous one?

A few weeks? Yes. That's what they call a vacation. I'll bring toxoplasmosis free cats.
TheVat your cat would not be a good fit, even disease free.

Your cat would do what cats do, murder some song birds for fun, deposit fleas in the great hall, cough up a bezoar on the dining room carpet, urinate on my aspidistra, then defecate in the rose garden.

That's nice however the birds in my gardens (yes plural) including the pigeons have no diseases. So Histoplasmosis, Ornithosis, Psittacosis or any other Chlamydia or Salmonella species.
Obviously H5N1 is right out.

To save time, there are no diseases anywhere on this day. Even the 90 year old head gardener is hale.

There was an episode of the Twilight television show where "Nothing bad, everything is comfortable, but also nothing new" was one man's experience in Hell.

I guess I could stand a wee bit of the Catholic caricature of Heaven: sitting about on a cloud strumming a harp and going "Halleluiah" every 5 minutes or so. Plus, it'd be nice to be free of the limitations of the physical body. But since - like a certain "Old Artillerist" once said - I cannot believe in a God who wants to be praised all the time, I doubt I'll be going there.

If it is eternity I must insist on setting the parameters.

100 seemed too old and 90 is a round number.

Consider a slightly different scenario, rather than Heaven: you're marooned on a jungle island. You have all the essentials: food animals, vegetables, water, shelter, a trusty machete, maybe a couple of books, beautiful weather, no predators that can't be dealt with easily. And no possibility of escape, so no reason to waste energy on building a raft.

How long would you last and what would you change?
Companions. No man is an island, as Mr Donne said. And I would add a few problems to deal with. I enjoy problem solving.

Comrades. "I am a rock, I am an Island," as Mr Simon said. Anyway I was not thinking dessert Island, Kent will do.

People are strange creatures - they are afraid of everything new, and at the same time they want it.
Maybe they are not afraid of new things, but afraid that a new thing will change them. Change is difficult, probably more difficult in a heaven that has mostly old people.

Dessert island? Now we're talking! Chocolates grow on trees? Crême brulée filled fruit?

Is chicken not meat in Russia?

I think it depends. If every day would be somewhat similar to the prior day, just for the sake of my comfort for example, I’d probably start craving a little chaos or change. Growth usually seeps in through the unexpected, doesn’t it? I don't believe I've ever experienced healing or growth through predictable routines.

You just need a bigger landscape. Probably a heli
