Would you like to live in a world where every new day is similar to the previous one?

Nothing bad, everything is comfortable, but also nothing new?
Do you mean like ground hog day? Identical? Or more of a very, very similar day?

It would be ok as long as I could change what I did. Also it would have to be a day where the garden did not need attention, dealing with difficult people AND a Saturday?
I have some requirements regarding the weather also Olga.
Also the traffic volume.

This could be a long thread!

Как в Раю, Пин? Зелёная лужайка, птички поют, бутылка холодного крафтового пива ... и никаких котов?

Can the birds know me? All different species land on my chair and take food from me.
Squirrels also.

No bees or wasps come near me, actually nothing with more than two legs.
I will allow butterflies but not near my head.

This is good for the soul Olga. Inventing the perfect day then planting oneself right in it.

Some vanity is required, what is the point in a beautiful day if you are dissatisfied with your own health and appearance?

So with that in mind I would like to have my 30 year old body not this one if that is ok.
My best combination of strength and stamina.

That's nice however the birds in my gardens (yes plural) including the pigeons have no diseases. So Histoplasmosis, Ornithosis, Psittacosis or any other Chlamydia or Salmonella species.
Obviously H5N1 is right out.

To save time, there are no diseases anywhere on this day. Even the 90 year old head gardener is hale.

I think the mind would decay. Being really alive involves contrasting conditions - good/bad, comfortable/uncomfortable, and various opposing emotions which keep us occupied. And curiosity, which thrives on new things or things seen in a different way. Without all that most people would sink into ennui. We're not koala bears, contentedly munching eucalyptus leaves all day.

The people known as Eloi, in The Time Traveler, were only happy in that scenario because they were unintelligent and passive.

There will be nothing new, everything is the same, but good.
Human nature is such that even "good" gets boring after a while if there's no variety

So, ultimately, the scenario you desribe is a paradox. You can't have it both ways.

I have been on vacations of a week, sometimes two, where know I have relaxed enough and I'm ready to go home. If it were to go on much longer, I would actively begin seeking new experiences, ranging farther and farther afield. If I were unable to find ways of having new experiences I would start to feel trapped.

Consider a slightly different scenario, rather than Heaven: you're marooned on a jungle island. You have all the essentials: food animals, vegetables, water, shelter, a trusty machete, maybe a couple of books, beautiful weather, no predators that can't be dealt with easily. And no possibility of escape, so no reason to waste energy on building a raft.

How long would you last and what would you change?

Rather, this is how people usually imagine Heaven.
There was an episode of the Twilight television show where "Nothing bad, everything is comfortable, but also nothing new" was one man's experience in Hell.

I guess I could stand a wee bit of the Catholic caricature of Heaven: sitting about on a cloud strumming a harp and going "Halleluiah" every 5 minutes or so. Plus, it'd be nice to be free of the limitations of the physical body. But since - like a certain "Old Artillerist" once said - I cannot believe in a God who wants to be praised all the time, I doubt I'll be going there.

Можно вместо райского острова в джунглях, представить себе райскую планету, затерянную в далёком космосе. Мы сейчас не там?
