As for being "a little fussy, and the look...", ffs, when he became President I'm sure he didn't expect Russia to invade, and to kill over 100,000 of his military, to injure 400,000 more, and to kill over 10,000 civilians. Do you think he might have a non-drug-related excuse to have "the look...", or to be "a little fussy"? And you compare him to when he was acting???

Riding the domino theory bandwagon all the way. And in a choice between funding and training South Vietnam to defend itself, and sending in Western troops, I'm definitely for the former. Though certainly there's no way the Viet Cong could triumph over the course of years and years of conflict if both options were applied. (And South Vietnam can obviously win a very long, extended war of attrition.)

In any case this is all ad hominem and beside the point*, which is that Zelensky has proved - totally against Putin's expectations - to be an exemplary wartime leader in the mould of Churchill - who by the way was almost certainly an alcoholic, not that it matters.

* typical of the distraction techniques of Russian disinformation campaigns.

No, they won't be considered authoritative, because Russian officials can not be considered impartial with regards Ukraine or its politicians. The same way that Trump's "election experts" (if had found any to support his case) would not have been considered authoritative when it comes to claiming the 2020 Presidential election to have been rigged.
