Their brothers come to get revenge on you for killing their brother. You kill them, too.

Now their extended family shows up. After a battle, they kill you.

Your entire family goes after theirs.

And it never ends. In 20 years you have the Middle East.

Hamas has been trying this for decades. They get in a few good "obliterations" evern now and then. How's it working out for them?

An approach like that leaves most people on Earth dead. Fortunately most people are not like that.



In skydiving we have something called the 100 jump wonder. They get to 100 jumps (and survive) and decide "this stuff is easy! It's just falling! I can move through the air, I can land my parachute, wingsuiting doesn't look that hard. And it's really safe! I have never seen anyone get seriously hurt. And I have triple digit jumps!" That is the most dangerous period for skydivers, because they start taking risks they don't understand.

If they make it to 200 or 300 jumps, generally they realize that it IS hard, people DO die doing this, and they have a lot to learn. Perhaps a friend of theirs dies. Perhaps they get to know a 4 way competitor and realize how much work goes into that. Or they get to know a rigger and realize how much work goes into maintaining that parachute and how chaotic and uncontrollable the openings are.

At that point they become both a lot safer and a lot better at decision making. As instructors we would try to help them get to that point, but in the end only they could get there.

The Palestinians seem okay with getting back the 43% of the British partitioning which was, erm, designated as theirs. Most seem okay with just getting back the WB, a safe corridor to Gaza, and removing illegal settlers. Not exactly Heute Palestinischland, Morgen die Welt!

I said sounds like. Not a cheap shot. And you don't seem to understand the origin of the term zionism. It described the Jews hope and desire to return to the Holy Land and Jerusalem. Nothing else. It has been distorted over the years. The original meaning is enshrined in the Israeli national anthem.
