why not an irc channel or somthing

I was thinking about this i though i might be worht mentioning. Have you ever considered opening up an irc channel or a java chat at your site? =_
 
duno you can share files over irc and SCI-text-GAMES would be halirous and great
 
Porf had a chat area available before - it was almost always empty.

=_ i personaly don't think so. Its still has some of the best text games ever. and WHAt 21st you mean accept reality
 
I don't use IRC. How about we just go to a java thingy. It could be in a post on a sticky thread with a Java window in it. Then it will be "in" the forum.
 
oh goofy is SO right. man that chatroom was dead all the time after like the first month.
 
Howabout we just open up #sciforums on freenode, add a light java client for those who dont use it regularly, and watch let it grow?
