There have been very few cases of this to study. It can't be concluded with certainty.
Abuse, neglect, extreme sensory isolation and malnutrition have always been major co-morbidities in these cases, so before we start speaking in generalities about that it will "never" happen, we would have to eliminate these as factors.

Human babies are born without necessary survival skills. They wouldn't survive a day without full-time care. It'll be years before they can even feed themselves. They will learn to think during that time.
Не научатся, а научат. Почему у человека почти нет инстинктов? Единственный, я как то читала - это боязнь змей. Что же представляет собой человек сам по себе без социума?

It is an evolutionary strategy that mammals went with. A bigger , more complex brain means mammals can outcompete simpler animals that can't adapt as well. But the cost of this big brain is that they have to be born while not fully formed, and do the rest of their development ex partum.
Social living is another strategy.
Because we are so complex, it takes more than a single set of parents.

Humans have been evolving for millions of years, we are social animals.
Мы бы не смогли развиться до сегодняшнего уровня, если бы у нас не было речи. Мне не понятно, почему другие животные не смогли развиться так же. Мы ведь развивались в одной с ними природной среде.

We didn't have speech, we had communication, just like all the other mammals.
Whales communicate over 1000s of miles, they sing to each other using water as the medium, millions of years before we could do that using the internet.
Тихоходки приспособились намного лучше нашего. Они даже в космосе могут выжить. Разве сложность не делает нас наоборот более уязвимыми?

Water is a better medium than air for transmitting sound due the density.
All the rest is evolution, Whale song and Whale ears. What sounds are the best to use to transmit information? What type of ear is best to pick it up?

Да, удивительная. Но за тысячи километров можно встретить столько разных препятствий для звука... Как узнали, что киты воспринимают именно песни других китов, и именно за тысячи километров? Люди тоже могут знать о том, что происходит с их близкими за тысячи километров. Причём, без всяких средств коммуникации. Иногда, это называют интуицией.

Truthful answer? I don't know. I know a little about Whale evolution because that is an interesting story but in terms of song I am quite ignorant. There should be info on the web regarding that.
There is no scientific evidence that people can do that.
Intuition is just guessing, when it's right it's telepathy, when it's wrong it is ignored.
Нет, не догадки. Это абсолютно физически ощущаемое чувство. Оно у многих развито в той или иной степени. Только я не знаю, это атавизм, или наоборот развитие дополнительных опций, если можно так выразиться.
